Fantastic Property! Beautifully presented and spotless! The location and view were incredible. Highly recommend the warm and inviting home.

My husband and I needed a few days of R&R. This was the perfect place. One day all we did was sit in the chairs by the windows reading while we watched the rain and crashing waves. Nice quiet location. Town, restaurants, shopping are just a few blocks away. WiFi worked great as did cell service. Kitchen is well stocked, bed was comfy, place was clean. Only minor issues were: 1) tv was all streaming and we missed our cable channels; 2) might be time for some touch up paint in the hallways - quite a few dings on the baseboards and door trim; 3) no walking trails to a beach but there are plenty within a few minutes drive. All in all we had a wonderful stay at Otter's Rest and would recommend it to others.

Great view, well furnished and overall wonderful place to stay! Nice and safe for our dog as well. I hope to stay there again sometime!

The views of the ocean are stunning. The house was spotless. This town is a real gem. Small enough to feel reclusive, but big enough to have groceries and restaurants close. Bed was really comfy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved our stay the house was furnished with everything that you would need the view was awesome and it was pet friendly the weather was great a little fog on the last day no biggie. would stay again very comforable.

when we arrived we all went out on to the deck. there was an Ospry perched on. a dead branch. From there on we rarely left the window or deck when we were in the house. The fireplace was a great boon as the weather was pretty sad.

The view is beautiful, however the unit needs a deep clean and the bathroom downstairs needs to be updated and deep cleaned. The rugs and runners throughout the house need to be thrown out, and replaced. Upstairs area was very clean, and the bathroom upstairs was very nice and clean. Unfortunately we will not return.

Perfect with everything we needed! The view the house everything was wonderful. My brother gifted the house with a telescope for others to enjoy! Thank you we will be back.

Spent a few days relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Mendocino coastline at Otter’s Rest. This was the ideal place for us to stay and enjoy the amazing views. It was easily walkable to town where everyone was so nice and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again!

Sitting inside with the windows open or out on the deck, watching and listening to the waves is soothing to the soul.

This house has such a great view, very clean, and we liked the open floor plan. A reading lamp (perhaps a floor lamp) would be great, as I had to use my little reading light to read my book. It's in a tiny neighborhood, so to do my run and walks, we had to drive to the Sea Ranch area. Not a big deal, as the ocean view more than made up for it.

Gorgeous sea view from the living room, bedroom, and deck. The kitchen is equipped for a serious cook. The knives were even sharp!

The views were the most amazing and we spent almost all of our time on the deck enjoying the ocean views and coastal landscape. Every detail we had hoped in our rental home, was covered. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Very comfortable and relaxing home. Gualala had everything we needed!!

This was perfect for us and our 16 year old Boston Terrier, it felt like home away from home!!!

Perfect location on a quiet court with endless views. The home is extremely clean considering it’s a vacation rental. Even the couch and chairs were freshly vacuumed. I have stayed at several places on the coast and this one so far is the best!

The Otter's Rest is a perfect spot to decompress from work life! The views from the home and porch are incredible. The home has many amenities for fun, such as books, puzzles and games. The kitchen is stocked to cook delicious meals. Otter's Rest gave our family a true rest!
