Stayed Dec 25, 2025Located on a lovely property in the woods near Gualala, Maria's home was a clean and spacious place for our family of five to spend five days exploring the Mendocino coast. Maria communicated clearly and responded promptly whenever we had any questions. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed. There was a storm when we arrived but the house was automatically operating on back-up generator power, and with consistent WiFi, several smart TVs, and a ping-pong table downstairs, we were able to entertain ourselves until the weather cleared up. Beautiful views of nature from all over the house. Would highly recommend this home and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Stayed Nov 21, 2025This was an amazing stay! The house had a lot of space to accommodate a large group. The kitchen was fully equipped. The architecture of the home was super cool. There was a lot of parking. The forest souring the home was beautiful and the space felt secluded. The fire pit was a highlight. The home was well looked after and clean. Finally, Maria was super responsive and inviting. She made sure our stay was a stellar experience.I recommend the mushroom tour. We found so many edible mushrooms! Maria was very knowledgeable and a great guide for beginners. This was the best stay I have had in a long time.

Stayed Nov 6, 2025We loved our stay at Redwood Hollow while in the area for a family event. The home was conveniently located near the event venue while also being conveniently located between Pt. Arena, Anchor Bay, and Gualala. The home is in a lovely grove of redwood trees and the view was beautiful from every window. The large home was clean, comfortable, attractive, and easily accommodated our multi-generational family group. It was stocked with all of the needed basics for our 3-day stay, was clean and comfortable, and felt safe behind a closed gate in a peaceful, rural neighborhood. The game room on the bottom floor kept our youngest family members happy and we appreciated the wifi access on both floors. The home is tastefully and artfully decorated, and we enjoyed the artwork. The comfortable laundry room with washer and dryer were much appreciated by our out-of-state guests after their travels. The local organic coffee provided by the host was a welcome treat each morning. There were plenty of comfortable, clean beds for all, and the three bathrooms were wonderful when we all prepared for our event at the same time. The home is large and allowed those who needed to catch up on rest to find a quiet place away from those who weren't tired. There is a big farmhouse sink, plenty of counterspace, large refrigerator, separate large freezer, Thermadore stovetop, and two ovens, which we put to use when feeding our large group. The host was warm, welcoming, and responsive. 10/10!!
