Beautiful house! Beautiful views! Cozy sitting area, well-equipped chef’s kitchen, good sized, comfortable bedrooms. Large, secluded, quiet, property. Excellent communications with homeowner Greg. Enjoyed a perfect weekend there; hope to return soon.
My husband, 4-year-old son and I stayed at this house for a week in late August, and we'll be dreaming about the view from the porch in the mornings and quiet nights building a fire and watching the moon and stars until we return next year. The house was clean and cozy, the kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped, the bathroom was large and outfitted with a top-notch washer and dryer, and the beds were comfortable. Greg is so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. We love the NEK, and the next time we visit we'll definitely stay in this house.
This is our second trip to Greensboro to stay at this lovely cabin/home. I say cabin because it is rustic but still has all the amenities you want. The kitchen is fully equipped and I even baked to apple-blueberry pies while I was there from local apples and blueberries! The beds are comfy. The shower is huge. There's an old fashioned claw-foot tub for a soak if you like. But the best part is the view from the wrap-around porch. Oh my GOODNESS! I wish I could take that view with me everywhere! The owner Greg was easy to contact and very attentive to our needs. I cannot recommend this property highly enough! This is our second stay and we'll be booking again in 2024. If you visit Vermont, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!
Stayed here for a birthday weekend, and this property is beautiful! The view as you pull up the driveway is incredible, and the house is perfectly situated with plenty of room to roam. The house is very well appointed, maintained, and decorated, and feels welcoming and cozy. The owners were very communicative and helpful. The location is great, well situated near nature spots, breweries, and close enough to spots like Stowe. We can't wait to return for a future vacation.
Beautiful house,, beautiful view. Private. Had everything
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this rental! Greg was very responsive and helpful in making sure we had what we needed. The property was very idyllic with mountain views and a big lawn and trail for the kids to play on. We did a lot of day trips to hikes and lake swims and it was a really peaceful and relaxing house to come back to after fun days out and about. The porch was beautiful and the kitchen was very well equipped. We would love to stay here again.
We couldn't recommend this place enough and would definitely stay again. The cabin is very nice, clean, and fully stocked with appliances and cookware. The property is quiet, secluded, and had gorgeous views. The owner Greg was super nice and communicative as well. All around the perfect place for our family to stay and enjoy the area!
This cabin and property were beautiful, we'd definitely come back. Greg was super helpful and communicative, the cabin was fully stocked and clean and had amazing views. We enjoyed the mowed trails on the property and quiet dirt roads to ride our bikes.
Greg was a wonderful host and we plan on staying longer the next time! Loved it!!!
This place was a wonderful spot for a two night getaway. Comfortable, clean, well appointed.
My wife and I had an absolute blast at Greg’s place over Labor Day weekend. Greg was very accommodating and let us check in early so we could get a heads up on the long weekend. We took our two dogs and “the boys” loved to run around the yard and going on walks in the woods. Greg has thought of everything for his beautiful home. We ate in all nights and hit Willey’s multiple times during our stay. We want to bring the boys and maybe more family next time, and there will be a next time. Thanks for your hospitality Greg.
This is the most relaxing vacation my husband and I have ever had. And this is the loveliest VRBO we’ve experienced yet. The property itself is huge and though it isn’t fenced our dogs stayed on the property and never ventured off into the woods. We have two large dogs and wouldn’t normally let them off leash in an unfenced yard. However, we were completely comfortable letting them explore this property’s huge yard due to how remote the property is. (But also, not more than a 5-minute drive to the nearest store.) Mostly our dogs wanted to soak up the sun on the porch or play in the grass. There were even some dog toys/tennis balls for them to play with. If you have dogs and want them to enjoy vacation as much as you do, then this is the VRBO for you! Our host Greg was hands-down the best host of any VRBO we’ve stayed in. He was attentive and available for any questions we might have. He stayed in touch to let us know he was there if we needed anything. I felt completely pampered and well taken care of the entire visit. The kitchen exceeded my expectations in every way! It was so well equipped we made most of our meals there instead of going out. While we were there, we received some apples from family who have a tree and I baked two apple pies! There were some spices in the pantry, flour, sugar, and a few other staples. The location of this VRBO is perfect. It’s close enough to everything you need (visit Willey’s or C&C Grocery) but still remote enough where you’ll never hear a car. You’ll marvel at the stars at night. If you live in the city like we do stargazing is such a treat! And if you have trouble sleeping when it’s too quiet, there are two fans available that worked perfectly to create the white noise I needed at night. We were there as the leaves were turning (end of September) and the view of the changing leaves on the mountain is breathtaking. The weather began to turn chilly during our stay but the radiant heat (the floors are warm!) kept us cozy the entire time. We cannot recommend this VRBO highly enough! When planning your trip to Vermont, consider this cabin for your home away from home. You won’t regret it! Thank you again, Greg, for everything! We’ll be back in 2023!
We had a great, relaxing week. Greg is an excellent host who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The property is private with great VT mountain views. The exterior design is casual and relaxing with flowers and nice plantings - everything is pretty, healthy and nicely maintained. The house has open kitchen / lounge area that’s accentuated by high ceilings and wood beams. The décor is cabin / contemporary with lots of interesting antiques and details – your eye frequently catching interesting design elements tucked into a nook or corner. Amenities are first rate – comfy beds, really great kitchen with large countertop dining area. The bath / laundry room is clean & well-appointed with nice, large shower and antique, claw foot tub. The large porch is a really great space to relax and take in the views – with screened-in outdoor dining space. Overall, a first-class property designed for comfort, convenience and relaxation – we literally lost track of time.
We thought the house was just perfect. So cozy and soooo clean and organized. I am admittedly rather OCD about these things. All drawers were not stuffed with junk and mismatched supplies but were just the opposite and arranged with purpose! For me it is important. Im a little nuts. Everything you need is available , in a good way. Not too much.Unfortunately the weather was typical for April in NE. Hoped to enjoy the outside more but snow, rain, and wind decided different. Owner is easy to approach, readily available...as long as you have service. Keep your eye on the wifi box if power goes out or flicks. Easy fix to turn back on. Loved Parker Pie and the breweries. History people...check out Bayley Hazen road from Revolutionary War. Stay here if you like quiet and the views, stunning. Thank you for paying attention to all the details for us.
