Stayed Jul 12, 2023Booked over 6 mo in advance as we were going to bass lake to attend a wedding. On Monday 2 days before we were to arrive Bass lake rental Co called me to tell me that somehow the property owners had pulled the property from them without any heads up. I was going to be stuck without a rental. They did not have a similar rental to offer me. I ended up booking a rental with Vacasa and spending double the amount. I was/ am livid. When I asked how to get my deposit back Bass Lake rental company told me that I had to lie to VRBO and request a refund due to a family illness. Why couldn't I tell the truth? No freaking idea. The rental CO blames the cabin owners, I don't know who is really to blame. I can caution you not to book this property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great value property for a lake vacation and/or hiking Yosemite which is just a short drive to the entrance of the park. Carole is great to work with. She makes you feel at home and is always very responsive.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I have 2 comments. The bottom queen mattress is extremely squeaky with any movement & very uncomfortable. Second, I would appreciate a deeper sweeping for spiders. My niece slept on the top right bunk & received multiple spider bites throughout our stay. I killed 2 spiders in the lower floor bathroom. In the lower bedroom with the squeaky mattress, I killed a huge spider that came from behind the headboard. I scared me because of the size. I checked behind the headboard & there was a lot of dust & webs. Carole was wonderful and very helpful with the entire reservation process & answering our questions about the property.
