Green House on the River, Walk to Gruene Hall!

Fantastic home in the heart of Greune! We were in for my step daughters wedding with reception being very close by so weren’t able to fully enjoy the house. The beds were comfy, kitchen stocked and a beautiful view of the river! Thank you for a wonderful home that worked so perfectly for our busy weekend.

Absolutely cute place. We rented for family attending our daughter's wedding. We appreciated the early check-in because of the timing of the wedding. It was conveniently located to the Chandelier of Gruene. I would highly recommend. It was conveniently located and check-in was very smooth.

This was a great property, with two nice balconies overlooking the river and Gruene. The short walk to main attractions like Gruene Hall was fantastic!

Great stay. Had everything we needed. The deer and foxes at night kept us entertained . Nice big fire pits and comfy beds. Not really easy to access the river due to the rapids and surrounding private property.

Had an amazing reunion with my college roommates here! Everything was in great working order, right next to Gruene and the river!

The property was great and the house was very clean. Do to the recent floods we weren’t able to float directly from the property. The location was amazing and a short walk to Rockin R and Gruene. We saw a herd of deer every night in the yard. Will definitely stay here again.

We arrived at the property and it was super clean. The location is super convenient and close to the adorable town. We have a great experience checking in and checking out.

Enjoyed our night here, was able to really enjoy the river with the short walk to Rocking R. And easy walk to dinner !

Beautiful, plenty of deer

Location was great and property was all we needed. One nit, as a VRBO owner myself, was no coffee for first morning. Otherwise, all good.

2nd time I stay there. Looking forward to scheduling a 3rd should say it all...

The house was perfect and just a short walk to Gruene. We brought our RTV to drive into town. River access was very close. We enjoyed the area under the house to hangout, along with the balcony. We will definitely stay here again.

Had a great time. Lots of room outdoors for kids to play! Great location , within walking distance of Gruene!

We enjoyed this home. Each bedroom had large and comfortable beds and everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. Perfect for walking to Gruene Hall and not worrying about finding parking for events there.

Location couldn’t be more clutch — the short walk into the town and the deck views create an amazing experience. The place desperately needs a deep clean beyond the surfaces Spider webs in the light fixtures, dust on the tops of the flat surfaces and under the beds as well…light in the stairwell was out as well as the light for ceiling fan 100% recommend

This was the perfect place for a gals day/night to celebrate one of our best friends moving/ getting married! Only downside was one of the girls cut her finger while cooking dinner and a first aid kit was no where to be found.

Two couples visited Gruene for a concert. The house has an incredible location, just a quick 5-10 minute walk to Gruene Hall.

The place was awesome!! So clean! Great location!! Perfect for any family event!!! The owners have great communication and happy to help!!! A must stay!

Celebrated a family members birthday and the home accommodated for that. The fire pit was great and the river was a short walk down the property. I do wish the exterior photo was updated to reflect no trees around the home. We were hoping for some shade to sit under and enjoy a breeze. But over all was a great visit!

The location was great; although its quite an uphill walk, the house is close to the main part of Gruene. The house was clean, spacious and appeared to have everything you will need (inside and out). Looking forward to staying again...

Girls trip! This location was PERFECT!!! So close to everything we wanted to do! And we literally walked out the back door down to the river.... Host was super responsive and accommodating!

We loved out stay here, however with no living space and us 7 ladies not really wanting to hang out the humid morning air, it was challenging hanging out the king bedroom. The river was great and walking into Gruene was as great (exercise up the hill) and floating right next door was amazing.

Loved our stay! Especially the outside sitting on the balcony and on the ground floor! Short walk to the river to a nice secluded area. Loved the floor layout of the house too!

3 couples came for golfing trip and Greune Shopping and Guadalupe float.

Great property for 2 smaller families. 2 of the bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house from each other so you aren’t next to each other and each have their own bathroom. The deck and fire pit had plenty of room to sit around and great access to the river.
