Description

Condo next to East Tennessee State University and very close to the Veteran’s Administration and Johnson City Medical Center. Just a few minutes from downtown or north Johnson City. 6 miles to downtown Jonesborough and the storytelling festival. 20 miles to Bristol Motor Speedway.

HVAC replaced a year or so ago. It’s a no frills townhouse (no pool or tennis courts, garage, etc.). The condo association is in the process of doing some exterior work and landscaping, so things are a bit bare on the outside. However, the inside is very clean and comfortable.

This is a very safe and mostly quiet neighborhood. It is near campus, so occasionally students get noisy, but my neighbors are very polite and courteous. I’ve always felt very safe there.

I have two parking spaces. If additional spaces are needed, I can usually make arrangements with one of my neighbors.

Overall we enjoyed our visit. The owner seems to care about his guests. The property was clean and well furnished with supplies, including a nice gift basket with snacks and water. My only complaint was the noisy beds. They slept fine but any movement caused squeaks. Also, both bedrooms are upstairs and we had to supervise my elderly mother on the rather steep stairs. These are minor issues and we really liked the property. It is very convenient to ETSU and that was great.
