Everything was perfect and our family felt right at home for Christmas

The house was lovely. Perfect size for our family. The host was easy to communicate with. Perfect location as well.

Pet friendly, super charming cottage. We spent several evenings on the second level deck watching the sun set. The street was quiet, not a lot of traffic and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. House was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The master bed (king) was super comfortable! We slept so well and the dog loved looking out the windows of the master bedroom since they were so low to the ground.Two points I'll note. (1) There is a second cottage on this property which I did not realize until we arrived. There are designated parking spaces for each which I also didn't realize until after we unloaded and saw the details hanging on the refrigerator. Having the other people and cottage wasn't an issue at all, just noting since it wasn't obvious from the listing. When I looked at the listing originally, it showed a round firepit by the marsh. That is for use with the other cottage. I see the listing has since been updated to remove that photo to avoid any confusion.(2) All bedrooms are upstairs and the stair case is very narrow and steep. Our lab ran right up the stairs when we arrived but then was afraid to come down. It took him a day or two to get used to them. We ended up putting down strips of that weaved shelf liner so he didn't slip going down the stairs. Worked perfectly with no impact to the painted stair case.Overall a really great place to stay and I would book it again.

Great location and nice property!

Excellent location. Easy drive to and from Portland and other areas of Maine. Walkable neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. Easy walk to the beach (couple blocks away) where you can stroll up and down for several miles. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space for our group of 8 adults to relax indoors or outdoors. Would definitely stay here again if/when I return to the area!

Charming, fully and very nicely renovated cottage - 4 bedrooms and 4 baths! not easy to find. Picturesque Scarborough Marsh on one side and fabulous Pine Point beach on the other. Our second stay! Family loved it.

Lovely property in a nice location, spacious rooms and gathering areas, and great outdoor amenities like the 2nd floor deck with gas fire pit.

We loved this property! Excellent location just blocks from the beach with pretty views of the marsh. Fully stocked kitchen made family meals easy to prepare plus several indoor and outdoor gathering spaces make this a great family rental. We’ll definitely return!

Great spot and comfortable house with great bedrooms and plenty of space. Views of the marsh are awesome. Landlord is very responsive.

Wonderful property. Convenient to many sites

Convenient walk to beach, restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room to spread out indoors. Wonderful for each couple to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms.The upstairs deck is cozy and pleasant, but really only good for 4-5 adults.Being familiar with Pine Point, we chose a property on the marsh for the views. It was not clear that the property was a duplex where we were in the front portion of the building and did not have access to the marsh views in the backyard.We were quite disappointed in the outdoor space. It was a small fenced in area without a view of the marsh. It was mostly dirt and gravel with an over abundance of furniture much of which was in rough shape. There were many broken beach chairs and it was a challenge to find enough for us to use that worked.The cabinets had many spices, oils and food items that were expired and not stored properly. We found rodent droppings in the kitchen. The dishwasher wouldn’t run, so we hand washed.For the price charged for our stay, we expected better and were disappointed.

We had a wonderful time. The house was everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone. The house was well decorated and clean. Would definitely consider going there again.

This was a very quaint, clean, comfortable, and “Maine-feeling” home!! The decor was darling and plenty of space for all of us six adults! Beds were also very comfortable, and we loved watching people go out to the marsh to search for clams! Excellent home in Scarborough!

Home was wonderful with lots of room for all of us. Really appreciated having 4 Bathrooms.

What an amazing property and fantastic location! Great space for extended family, well equipped with everything you need. The weather didn’t cooperate over Memorial Day weekend, and we were so thankful for such a fabulous house with lots of space to play board games and cook family dinners. We will absolutely be back. 4 parking spots only work if cars are very small.

Lovely home in a really nice community, very walkable to enjoy the fresh air and beach. Lots of restaurants with outstanding seafood. This property is not very good for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise an excellent choice.

This was our second stay in two years. The property looked a little worse for wear this year and the wifi disappeared day 2 and never came back on. If you have to work while on vacation, like we do, this is not the place for you.

Roomy

Our family enjoyed our week at the beach, easy walk to the beach and the weather could not have been more perfect.

We had my parents, my family and my sister's family stay at this house. Everyone enjoyed the location and was a perfect size for everyone. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, quiet, plenty of parking, great layout and well stocked with beach accessories. The fit was perfect for our family and the location to beach and walking distance to restaurants . The house wasn’t as clean as expected, spider webs were found in various main locations, it could really use a deep clean. But honestly that is the only negative and we would stay there again!

We had a wedding in Portland and the house at Pine point was the perfect size for our extended family. With all of us getting ready for the wedding at once, the four bathrooms came in very handy. It was nice to be able to go to the beach with the kids on the days leading up to the wedding and after. I would highly recommend anyone staying at this house. It was a home more than a rental.
