Stayed Mar 28, 2026Everything was fine. The extensive rules just made me feel a little bit neurotic and made me feel less relaxed staying there. Then again, maybe that is because I am not the person those rules were written for.

Stayed Jan 2, 2026We have stayed further down Drake and on the water before but this location is so much closer to town and just about as easy to get down to the waterfront park it outweighs any perceived benefits of direct waterfront property. Very warm and functional home. Lovely deck and kitchen. Nice hot tub with plenty of views. Good communication as well.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Kitchen was fully equipped, but could use a deep cleaning. Very family friendly. Being a close walk to town enabled family members to hit the coffee shop without driving or worrying about parking. Mattresses on twin beds were uncomfortable. Hot tub was a hit.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025We have been visiting this house for a couple years now, and have always enjoyed our stay. The host really cares and is easy to reach if needed. It's an ideal location for staying in Guerneville - it's close to downtown, next to the river, and plenty of good places to go for an walk. We love this place and plan on staying here many more times in the future.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025The kitchen was great! Plenty of dishes and utensils…. I would add a new skillet or two. Downstairs shower is hard to use for anyone under 6’2”…way too high to reach or change shower head. We loved the light, location, and cleanliness. All beds were comfy.

Stayed Sep 5, 2025We had a wonderful time! The house is well located close to the center of Guerneville and sits in amongst beautiful trees and nature! We loved sitting outside on the terrace and taking in all the beauty. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms very comfortable! All in all a very relaxing weekend!!

Of course the Russian River area is a beautiful place from the vineyards, to the Redwoods, to the cool swimming and paddling waters, right down to the estuary at Jenner. And this home is set up beautifully for an extended family or cheerful group of friends. Easy to get in, EVERything stocked up well: kitchen stuff, bath stuff, and lots of beds. The deck extends right from the living and dining room and was great for hanging out and chatting. The hot tub/spa is maintained impeccably and we followed the protocols to keep it that way as we used the spa daily for a fun luxury. Clare was easy to touch base with for any questions we had and her vivacious personality permeates this relaxed, fun home through its decor and amenities. You can't miss if you stat at Perfect Location.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025We spent a long weekend at this home with two families, 4 adults, 3 kids, and a small dog, and had a fantastic time. The house is well-designed, with ample space for everyone to relax comfortably. The kitchen was a highlight: well-stocked, functional, and perfect for cooking and hanging out together.The location is excellent. It's just a short, scenic walk to downtown Guerneville and a great beach on the river. It was easy to explore the area without needing to drive much, and we appreciated being able to stroll into town for coffee, meals, and shopping.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxed getaway with friends or family in a beautiful part of Sonoma County.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025Loved the location of the house, a lovely walk to town, and short easy drives to many parks and recreation areas. The home was welcoming and had everything needed for us. We were two families consisting of three kids ages 6-13, one grown up kid, and three adults and we were accommodated well. A minor issue with the hot tub was quickly resolved. Stayed Dec 24, 2024Our family (infant, toddler) met up with sister's family (2 kids) and had a lovely time. We stayed upstairs with the young kids, older kids had their own room as did their parents. Good open plan. For the price point, it was a great site. While some things may be a bit dated, the oven comfortably cooked a 20lb turkey for us :) and the dining table sat everyone for meals. Oh, and my sister's dog had a great time, well sealed yard for her to get out. Would recommend for folks looking for a similar kind of get together.

Stayed Jul 26, 2024Over month prior to this trip, I got introduction/Welcome email from Clare. It was a surprised as I normally don’t get that from other rentals. Fast forward, a few days before my check in and something came up and I requested accommodation. Without questioning, Clare made it happened. It came off as needy guest and I hate being that type of guest but she made it happens! Clare also mad sure we needed anything during our stay and remain helpful throughput our stay. Clare not only made us feel welcome and enjoy our time but she made it felt like we are staying at a friend’s house and not just any rental. We will plan for a longer stay and book this place again! Stayed Jul 18, 2024Big, multi-level house with room for 8 but also privacy. Ideally located near river and downtown, but very quiet. Park with play structure and tennis/pickleball court right across the street. Owner is a very tasteful decorator and available for email assistance if needed. Big kitchen/living room/dining area and deck with BBQ and hot tub. Great for family gatherings.

Stayed Jul 5, 2024The location was perfect - easy walking distance from town, and close to the recommended start and end points for floating on the Russian River. The layout of the place was a little weird; we had a full house of 10 of us so we used the trundle beds and everything. Good for a group that knows each other well, but wouldn't be great for e.g. a group of couples. We hadn't realized also that it doesn't have air conditioning; we were there on a hot weekend so it got a bit stuffy. This is probably in the listing but we had missed it. It always gets chilly at night so it's not so bad if you have the windows open. Clare was very communicative and easy to work with, and the house was very clean. The kitchen was also really well-stocked. Thanks for a great stay!
