Great Gorge Getaway - Large Deck & Yard - River Views

The location of this house was perfect for us to attend a family wedding in the area. Everything was clean and the few personal touches were noticed! I had a couple questions of Denise and she was always prompt to answer! We enjoyed the deck very much!

We enjoyed our time there. Plenty of room to park our boat. The house was the same as in the pictures. There was no AC but there was lots of fans in the house and a cooler (?) in the living room. It was still too hot for me though & I'm always cold. The owner was very courteous and responded to all my messages. She was even willing to let us have a late checkout so we could fish one more day!

Check-in was very easy, the host gave perfect instructions. She was also very helpful with things to do in the area.

Great access to the Hatch and surrounding spots. House is cute historic style and has a view of the river to check conditions. Host is welcoming.

1950’s cozy house with many updates. Everything available and working as advertised. We did not cook here. We walked to many nearby restaurants in town, particularly the Ayutlense Mexican restaurant with jumbo margs! Good brunch at Carmen’s too. Nice deck with beautiful lanscaping. We were too early for the figs and apples. Easy in and out with lots of parking and no noisy neighbors. Easy access to Hood and both sides of the gorge. Definite return if we are in area again!

The house was a great spot for us. There aren't many options in Bingen/White Salmon and this spot was perfect for getting around to see family in those towns without having to drive far. The house is warm and comfortable and had most everything we needed for a few days.

The yard is lovely! The house is fine. The host is thoughtful. The price is good for White Salmon. It does not have central AC but does have a portable unit.

Location was prefect and I preferred the laidback towns of White Salmon/Bingen over staying in Hood River. Older home, but clean and charming. Great backyard for unwinding with a glass of wine after a full packed day. Make sure you hit up Denise for activities, restaurant ideas, and how to save on the toll bidge. Great Host!

We had a wonderful stay in this little two bedroom home. The backyard is perfect to sit out with a nice glass of wine. There is some pretty cool lantern lighting which adds to the ambiance in the evening. The location is a close walking distance to downtown for restaurants and beers. We met our host Denise and loved her! She even brought us some fapples, figs and an award winning homemade Apple Sauce she made! So delicious! Loved our stay and would stay here again.

Nice little getaway near White Salmon and Hood River with breathtaking scenery. Our host Denise was very nice, patient, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
