Not in the center of town but only a 15-20 minute walk to the small beaches in town along with all the shops, galleries and restaurants. Great view of the water. The house is as described and very nice. We had a couple of minor issues and the management company was very responsive. Overall, we recommend visiting the area and staying at Granite Pier.

We love the location and the home is lovely with enough room to share with several friends and family. Everything was clean and the staff was responsive. Our coffee maker was replaced quickly once we reported a problem with it, and an effort was made to resolve the wi-fi problem. There were several maintenance issues which detracted from our full enjoyment of the vacation.

Unfortunately at 4:00, our house was still not ready. Once we were allowed to enter, the home was very clean. The home and views are amazing. I recommend some new window units and additional ones downstairs. The furniture smelled moldy, but after the air started circulating it was better. For a last minute rental, it was very enjoyable.

COVID added unique challenges and AVH could not have been more flexible or responsive. This property is ideally situated with a water view, excellent kitchen, great multi-level layout, and walking distance to town and quarries. Shout out to Jonathan for his work with us. Highly recommend the property and AVH.

Getting away to the coast without having to leave the Commonwealth was just what we needed. Everything was very comfortable. Especially loved being able to eat on the shaded outdoor deck/patio.
