Grandview - Luxurious Entertainer with Spectacular Views

absolutely stunning location. Amazing views. So many sleeping options. Beautifully appointed with pool table and cinema. Endless opportunities to sit and relax a with a view at every turn. Wonderful locations for large family and friends catch up weekend. I Loved it and i would highly recommend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location, layout and views were amazing. Unfortunately the stay was completely overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness and old or not working appliances. The kitchen had dirty utensils still covered in food, greasy handprints on the cupboards, the dishwasher had previous guests dishes that I had to unpack. The oven didn’t work, neither did the ice or cold water dispenser on the fridge. Kitchen lights had cobwebs as did the living area, complete with bugs and spiders. The cinema room was just as bad — old food and lollies wedged between the seats, the TV in the cinema room was so old it cant play Netflix ? TV also had exposed cords, internet was intermittent. The floor to ceiling windows looked liked they had been wiped with a dirty mop and had very noticeable dirty streaks. Outside, the bbq was great. Some outdoor furniture was covered in mould and bbq seating area had stacks of unused tiles. This was so not the luxury accommodation advertisd, especially for this price.

Toilet was dirty with rust marks, spiders and cockroaches. One crawled over my daughter whilst sitting on the lounge. Spider webs in every room, no air con or fan in the room downstairs. Theatre room under the chairs was disgusting. Windows were dirty and not cleaned properly. Glass doors would not unlock to be opened. Iron leaks, linen was stuffed into cupboards not folded.

Really lovely stay. Spacious and well equipped. Driveway may be very steep for certain vehicles but SUVs will be fine.

This property is amazing from the minute it comes into view, you might like to download an app to find each other when you first get there . Our get together was perfect. Despite some really awful weather for. A couple of the days we were there. There is space for everyone to do there own thing or to congregate in the dining area, the movie room, the pool room the kitchen. All of them are large enough to accommodate a large group. The views are just simply stunning. The only downside for me was the various levels on the ground floor, as a mobility challenged older person negotiating some of the steps caused some stress, however the entire time was worth the extra effort because family time is so precious and spending it in the serene surroundings of this property was simply amazing. Thank you for allowing us to share this space fora few days

The location and views were spot on. The house is designed beautifully but at over a Thousand dollars a night and being called Luxurious it falls way short. Chipped glasses, bowls. The exhaust fan over the stove had fat dripping onto our cooking and looked like it had never been cleaned. The container in the fridge for Ice and water had slime in it, the bath had to be cleaned before it could be used, the living area was full of cobwebs and my son in law had to kill a redback as it wandered down to the floor. I could go on but they have been made aware of the issues and we have photographs. They did offer to send their cleaners back but we were out as we were enjoying precious family time away. Would we book again, no we wouldn't as it was very disappointing for what was described as luxury.

House was amazing. 4 families were in the home for a 4 day stay. It is quite a large home and divided very well so different things happening at the same time were not interrupting anyone else. TV in the theatre was very laggy to set up but great once something was put on. The kids left it and it kept them entertained/busy. Pool room, kitchen, rooms, house styling were all great. Did find the cleaning that had been done to be very visual/surface level cleaning though. We all chipped in to clean before handing the property back and found we were cleaning preexisting, dust, dirt, etc in the lesser visual locations.

Reviewer Comments: On entering the house you are surprised by its size and spaciousness.The house was more than enough for our big family.The master bedroom was huge with large floor to ceiling windows to frame the beautiful landscape.The teenagers loved the huge and comfortable Media room and the Pool room.The kitchen was adequate for the size of the house.A good feature was the the Filtered water tap on the bench. On the negative side the tile floor in the kitchen was very sticky underfoot and ea had to mop it again.Probably too much floor cleaning liquid.I feel that the kitchen stove and range hood need a good clean.The ice maker in the fridge does not appear to work.The Dyson vaccuum cleaner does not charge...either the battery or the charger.The Exhaust fan in the main bathroom downstairs is coming away from the ceiling and the shower head in same bathroom is faulty...water comes out of connecting pipe to shower head making it difficult to shower.The toilet in same bathroom has trouble flushing....slow to operate. The outdoor BBQ was excellent and it was a good idea to have a spare bottle og gas as the one hooked up to bbq was empty.OVERALL IT WAS A PLEASANT STAY.

The property is a modern, architecturally designed, well-appointed home with wonderful views in nearly all directions. The theatre room and pool table also ensure that guests can keep occupied even when the weather is not so good.

The view was spectacular a shame the 3 days we stayed here we had extreme winds so we could not make use of the outdoor deck area . All bedrooms were a great size . A remote for the garage would have been handy . All in all I would recommend a stay here you would not be disappointed.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the home but there were a few things that were needing attention.The dishwasher didn’t work (we suspect the previous guest had the same issue as a dishwasher tablet was in the bottom still.) We tried all the troubleshooting in the manual but no luck.The kitchen bins are a terrible fit and it was a struggle to open the draw every time, and near impossible to close unless you manually held one of the bins up so as not to catch on the base of the cupboard.We expected necessities such as salt would be available.The Dyson vacuum in the garage didn’t work.
