Stayed Dec 12, 2025We had such a lovely stay in the property. Perfect location with the shops a stone throw away, alongside picturesque walks and close amenities. The host was friendly and communicative and went out of our way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 30, 2025Our daughter stayed in Bath while she waited for us to arrive in London and she absolutely loved it. Kate was so nice and accommodating and very helpful and responsive. And she enjoyed the house so much she didn’t want to leave!

Stayed Sep 1, 2024You could not find a better location to stay in Bath: lovely neighborhood, a very short walk to the bus/train station and into the city centre. Close to groceries, coffee and tea shops, shopping, and restaurants. We walked the river and canals easily from Kate's well-appointed home. The kitchen offered all the means for preparing and eating meals. The washer and dryer were a real plus. The home is older and would benefit from a refresh but suited us just fine. Do note that there are four flights of stairs and the one bathroom is not on the same floor as either of the two bedrooms. Kate was incredibly generous with stocking the fridge with essentials to get us started. She is truly lovely.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024We really enjoyed our stay in Bath. A conference at the University of Bath was easy to get to via Uber. All of historic Bath was close to no more than a 20 minute walk. The house is lovely and historic, including the enchanting back garden. Also, worth noting, the charming hamlet of Widcombe, just a 5 minute walk from the house. A lovely lunch at The Ram was just what we needed after an overnight flight. Thanks to Kate for her amazing home and her kindness to us --we will certainly return!!

Stayed Dec 22, 2023We wanted to have a change this Christmas and so decided to rent a house in Bath. The house and Bath were perfect, giving us a feeling of Christmas gone by. The House had everything we needed and was a short walk into Bath itself. Thank you for a perfect Christmas .

Stayed Sep 23, 2023A beautifully appointed and charming property. Limited parking, but no need for a vehicle, as one is only five walkable minutes from the train station and the sights of Bath. Multiple floors and narrow stairs will limit accessibility for some visitors, which is a shame as the property is a real charmer.

Stayed Apr 6, 2023We loved everything about our stay on Lyncombe Hill. Kate was very welcoming and helpful and the house was delightful - comfortable, quirky and interesting with everything we could possibly need. The location is fantastic with access to so many lovely walks in the hills, along the canal or the river, or into the city centre, which is just moments away. Also the amenities in Widcombe are super convenient. Wonderful!
