The location, layout, and look of this home was perfect for me and my siblings. The house has 3 bedroom areas that gave us a bit of space but also allowed us to easily come together. We woke to sounds of the waterfall, enjoyed time at the firepit and views from the porches. Definitely recommend renting a pontoon boat from Signal Ridge Marina (4 minute drive).
Well furnished, comfortable beds and bedding, and suitable entertainment features, well-equipped kitchen. It was especially soothing to hear the waterfalls at the beginning and end of every day.
This property is absolutely unique and top-notch in every way. Mary is a super host, from the communication and the detailed touches upon your arrival to following through with you with any questions until your exit. Our family loved this property and the waterfall that you can listen to the entire time you are there was mesmerizing. We would love to return to this rental. Thank you for making this available to the public Mary.
We really enjoyed property and hanging out by waterfall and swimming all day long. Amazing place
Perfect house for our family. Great location, and the waterfall and fire pit were great to just relax at.
This house is absolutely amazing! We only left the property once to buy some food that we forgot to bring. The decks are so relaxing and the noise of the water is so soothing. We brought tubes and had fun going down the rocks. The dogs had fun swimming in the water as well. The owner was quick to get back to us. Best rental house we have rented!
My husband, son, and grandsons stayed for a week! Even though we had rain for a few days, the kids wanted to slide down the falls into the pond and swim! Safe falls for an 8 and 13 year old. Be sure to bring your own tubes, that is what we did. Home was very well appointed and extremely clean. Owner was very responsive for the couple times I had questions. Mary was fantastic! My family said it was the best vacation we have ever had. Would stay again.
The house was perfect for our family of seven including teens and grandparents. The location was great with easy access to Cashiers and the lake. We enjoyed the waterfall and fire pit and mainly spent time on the deck of the kitchen. It’s even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Everything was as described regarding the house. Would love to go again next summer.
This home and the surrounding property are absolutely amazing! The home is super clean and very well stocked. The owners are so welcoming and have really done a quality job with this rental. I have never stayed in a rental where the outside decks/fire pit area were so clean and comfortable. I highly recommend!
I Took my children ages 10 and 12 with my mother here for spring break Sunday, March 12th-Saturday, March 18th. We also included my brother and his wife and children ages 9 and 12 as well they stayed (Sunday-Thursday). Everyone loved the place, it had plenty of space for everyone and then some. The house was ready as soon as we got there and was in picture perfect condition. Everything we wanted to do was within 15 minutes to about a hour and half away that being ashville. There are many waterfalls around the area. we went to probably about 15 while we stayed the 6 days. We could have probably went to more easily, but we wanted a lazy day to just enjoy the house and the waterfall that this gorgeous house has to offer and the kids did not argue at all to the idea. The host has many brochures about things to do around the area as well if needed. The house is also amazingly stocked with everything you can need for cookware like plates, glasses and wine glasses. They even went out of there way at the beginning of the trip and a bottle of wine was left, that my mother and my brothers wife enjoyed. All in all, I AM very pleased with everything. from the service that was provided. like the extremely fast response time when responding back to a message, to the overwhelming comfort and warmth of a home that makes you feel like home when you are away from home. Thank you for making my families spring break vacation of 2023 very memorable it is very much appreciated. Sincerely, M Carlan.
Beautiful home with everything you for your getaway. Everything is as depicted and then some. Driveway is tricky for large dually truck but we managed. The beds are very comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
what an awesome property and the process was as easy as could be.
This house was just beautiful, inside and out. The roaring creek was the most incredible Mother Nature has to offer. We couldn't stay out of the creek even though it was November. Decks on the house were just begging for sitting and relaxing. We really meant to leave the house more but just couldn't. I asked a few questions about the house and got an answer before my fingers left my keyboard.
This is a short review, but the place was perfect for us and Mary and Dave went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The house is really special and my wife and our friends would stay there again in a heartbeat!
The house is set back in the woods, not far off the road, down a steep hill. Perfect spot to get away from it all and just relax off the grid. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make lunch or dinner. The bedrooms were all nice and the beds very comfortable. The three decks were furnished with all the necessities you would expect. Loved sitting outside and listening to the sound of the waterfall, very mesmerizing. The main deck has a gate so our dogs could be outside with us and we didn’t have to worry about them getting out. Highly recommend this property. We didn’t have a problem with this but there are a lot of stairs, inside and out. I can see where this may cause some problems for a few. Great location, not far from towns or waterfalls and trails.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this charming and unique mountain home. The waterfall is so pretty & relaxing; we had a hard time leaving the property to explore! The host provides a guide to help with activities and suggestions in the area and they were all great! Beds were cozy, house was very clean and the house is well stocked with supplies and little thoughtful things we all appreciated.
This is a lovely house in a beautiful, private neighbourhood with amazing views
My family and I had an amazing stay at the cabin. The 3 decks overlooking the sliding rock falls with a swimming hole at the bottom were our mainstay there. Each day we would swim , bask on the decks and cookout on the grill! The top floor has a full bath and king size bed with a spiral staircase. It is open to the kitchen and living area so keep that in mind if you have a family member that loves unloading the dishwasher at 7 am (lololol). The internet and smart tvs worked well for 4 adults with phones. We bought groceries our first day and just stayed at the cabin the rest of the time, enjoying the indoor and outdoor space. Mary was great at communicating and the household manual and check out instructions were easy to follow. Things to keep in mind: The road to the house is steep and you will need 4-wheel drive (in low gear) to get out of it safely and not like a rocket. There are a lot of stairs, so anyone with mobility issues may struggle. Bring water shoes and a tube/tubes to get the most out of the falls. Use the rope to get in the pool easily then you can walk up the other side. The pool has a couple non venomous banded water snakes that also enjoy basking on the rock- but don't let them spook you! They're harmless and only interested in the frogs and fish. The fish are very interested in you and will gladly help with pedicures. We would 100% stay there again and honestly I'm already looking at booking for next summer! 5 ?
