Gorgeous tri-level at 6000 feet, sleeps 6, 3 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath, huge decks.

I was told at the last minute that a handyman was working on one of the bathrooms due to a flood, and the owner, Dorothy, hoped he would be done on time for us to use. He finished 2 hours before we arrived, and the home wasn't clean. According to Dorothy, the home was cleaned after New Years, 6 weeks prior to our stay, but the home had been used...dirty toilet, bathtub, counters, table tops, trash in the trashcan, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and dusty furniture. Especially now, with COVID, one would think special attention would have been paid to cleanliness. I contacted Dorothy, and she apologized for the home not being clean and ready. After several phone calls, she wasn't able to get a cleaner and sent the handyman over. He was upset and made it clear that he was a handyman and not a house cleaner. He even stating that this what you get with VRBO. At that point I contacted Dorothy again, and she offered to cancel and give a full refund. I agreed to cancel and to the refund. In the end my family had to rent a hotel room 20 miles away only to drive home the next day extremely disappointed. The next day Dorothy contacted me to send her an e-mail describing the uncleanliness of the home, so she could speak with the cleaning person. I sent her the e-mail along with pictures as evidence of the uncleanliness. After nearly a month and several e-mails and phone messages to Dorothy, we haven't heard from her. We hope she is still working with us to solve this fairly.

The mountain house was wonderful and the perfect size for our party of 6. It was cozy and warm on the snowy days we encountered. Our teenagers found the perfect places to snowboard and sled in all of the fresh powder. A great time was had by all and we will definitely rent this property again.

This house is sweet and charming. There is plenty of space. Rooms are cozy and clean. We enjoyed beautiful views and snowfall. Property is very spacious, we did not need to leave to play on the snow. Our kids spent hours playing outside, building snowman, pulling each other on sleds. I agree, with the previous review, the pictures do not fully represent the sweet and cozy feel of the house. Owners were also very thoughtful and accommodating.

Me and my husband stayed in this house with 2 other couples and enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend the house for a vacation.

Such a blessing was Dorothy's cosy, very well decorated, every detail watched Home for our first ever Xmas as whole family. Dorothy has great taste in decoration, even Xmas decorations! First day was suntan at veranda with Deers and blue coloured birds around.Chipmunk and squirrells, then came snow. Very comfortable beds, great bath tub and shower,too...DVD, TV, even VHS player! Would ve brought Wedding video if i knew! All needed available at kitchen, even party plates! Very clean, great fire place, superb heating. Would love to live there everyday! Beautiful area for a winter get away. House is very clean/ comfortable and well kept. We will come back!

We had a very relaxing weekend over the Thanksgiving holidays. Well kept, beautiful home, that allowed us to enjoy the views and wild life including birds, several foxes, and squirrels in the morning and evenings. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and will recommend this home to all our friends and family. Thank you for the use of your home.
