Stayed Dec 31, 2025The property was great for the one medium-sized dog we brought. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. You could really tell that the house is loved and lived-in. It is not just a furnished rental property, but clearly someone’s home they have spent a lot of time furnishing with high-quality items. The interior of the house was just as nice as the scenery outside, making for an effortlessly relaxing vacation.

Stayed Dec 25, 2025House was great. Dirt road was too treacherous with steep downhill and drop off on one side after 6 inches of snow, followed by melting and refreezing. Could not safely leave until the city sand truck came late in the day. Host was very responsive. Although no one could find the pack n play for the 1 year old to sleep in that the host promised was there. Nor did he supply the high chair he had promised. Had to borrow both from a local friend.

Stayed Nov 27, 2025We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and had a great experience. The property is beautiful, and we (and our dog) enjoyed exploring it and hiking the nearby trails which are just down the road. The house was very clean, unique, and comfortable. We loved relaxing by the fireplace, playing pool, and having a well-stocked kitchen. The towels were super soft and the welcome gift was a nice touch.It felt like a true getaway — close to great towns to explore, but private enough to just enjoy being in nature. We’d definitely stay here again.
