Stayed Jul 1, 2025House was a very nice size for having sleeping rooms and also space for in-home work. Comfortable beds and fabulous kitchen. House was less than 1 mile from town and a great farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday. We enjoyed the two months we stayed there a lot!

Stayed Feb 1, 2025This is by far the nicest vacation rental I have ever found. Kirstin is a wonderful, polite and accommodating. I stayed for over a month and I was sad to leave. Rooms are spacious and kitchen is amazing. My grandkids enjoyed a couple of sleepovers. I was able to get a lot of remote work done at the large desk. Home is absolutely charming.

Stayed Apr 15, 2024This is the second time I have stayed at the property. After the first time, I knew I wanted to come back. The home is beautifully decorated, with warmth and charm. Many properties I’ve stayed at are minimally furnished, this one is how you would want to decorate your own home. It is fully remodeled and has a kitchen that is amazing. The location is also a plus. So close to downtown and the university. Corvallis is a very walkable and bikable town and this house gives you easy access to all Corvallis has to offer. Kirsten is so easy to work with. She is friendly, accommodating and I feel like we have gotten to be friends. When growing tree branches started to encroach on sidewalks, she had the city out the next day to take care of the problem. I look forward to visiting Corvallis again and will definitely stay at this property again.

Stayed Dec 17, 2023We loved the big old, historic house, which has been outfitted with a large, bright and well appointed kitchen. The downstairs also has a big dining room and living room, entry way with work space - which are connected and open. Plenty of room upstairs to get away, with each of 3 rooms large and windows looking over the street and trees. Kirstin was a great host throughout our 6 week stay. Hope to come back.

Stayed Oct 27, 2022It is a beautiful historic home with all the convenience of a modern, remodeled kitchen and bathroom. It is walkable to downtown Corvallis restaurants and shops. The kitchen and fireplace in the dining room made us love cooking and eating at home. Bald Hill path was a great nature escape only a short drive away. The coast was an easy day trip. Loved it and cannot wait to visit again. Kirstin was a super helpful and knowledgeable host.

Stayed Jun 15, 2022What a phenomenal property! I spent about six weeks in the house and enjoyed every moment. The house is a real gem with an ambiance that makes it feel like you are in your own home. Unlike many rental properties that are sparsely furnished and lack warmth, this house is amply furnished and incorporates great decorating choices. Homey touches included live plants and even stuffed animals. The decor made the home inviting and comfortable. Another of my favorite features was the covered porch that provided a great place to curl up with a good book. Nestled in the middle of the historic district, it is just a short walk to OSU, the Riverwalk, and Corvallis’ Central Park, so there is no lack of things to do. During the summer the community band puts on free concerts in Central Park, just a couple of blocks from the house. Kirstin was a model host and I enjoyed getting to know her. She was very helpful and responsive when there were problems. She worked hard to get issues resolved quickly. I would definitely rent the property again (and probably will).

Stayed May 10, 2022We stayed at the house during part of my sabbatical at OSU. The house is fantastic. It has the best elements of staying in an historic house with all of its charm, together with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is beyond gourmet. We cooked a lot! There are plenty of tools and everything is easy to find. The right piece of cookware was easily at hand for everything we decided to make. The dining room gas fireplace adds elegance to meals in the house. It was also an easy walk to several restaurants downtown, when we felt like eating out. Doing laundry was easy and the separate laundry room off of the kitchen made it convenient. The under floor heat in the bathroom made it cozy. There were a few different inviting spaces to set up a home office that still kept work items separated from daily life at home. Kirstin is a super friendly host with lots of local knowledge. We cannot wait to return in the fall.

Stayed Mar 27, 2022We needed somewhere to stay in the time between our new house being completed and the sale of our home. Kirsten was so accommodating and lovely throughout the whole process. It was fun to live in downtown for a few weeks and get to experience walking everywhere! The house was completely stocked with everything you could ever need, and Kirsten was by far the nicest host we've ever had!!
