The house was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and the view unbeatable! However, I would suggest the owners should check and review the cleaning company. The dust was too much and floors not clean.

Beautiful location right on Lake Leelanau with stunning views and easy access to the water. The house was very spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The host was responsive and made the entire process simple — we’d definitely come back.

Our stay was great overall. It was hard to find a house in leelenau that could accommodate our large family so we appreciated the abundance of rooms and beds. The views from the main living room were incredible and the close proximity to hiking at the whaleback natural area was awesome. The layout of the house is quite strange with one of the bedrooms essentially being a hallway between two connected living spaces. Additionally, the master bedroom is only accessible through a bathroom, which is the only bathroom in the secondary living area (ie not a private bathroom). The issues mentioned above were not deal breakers but should be considered, especially if you are not related to everyone staying.

Overall great stay and would recommend! Quiet, peaceful property. We had a group of 14 (10 adults and 4 kids) and it worked well for us. Pros - Communication was great and the house was clean and well maintained. The outdoor area was great! The paddle boards and kayaks at the lake were a hit for the kids. The second kitchen was a huge plus, having two refrigerators and stoves was good for a large group. Close to a couple small towns, grocery store, and a gas station. Plenty of parking for four SUV’s and two boats. Cons- The biggest downside was one of the upstairs bedrooms had to be walked through to get to the other bedrooms and upstairs living area. We had a mixture of early risers and night owls so that didn’t work well for us. Also the road to cross to the lake is somewhat busy and right on a curve and the docks weren’t very sturdy for swimming/tying up the boats.

Fantastic Stay with Ample Space and Great Amenities! Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO property! The house itself was wonderfully clean and remarkably spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We especially appreciated having two sets of washers and dryers, bwhich was incredibly convenient for a larger group, and there were plenty of fresh towels for all. Every bed we used was also very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The property offers nice access to the lake, though do note you need to cross a busy street to reach it. Parking was abundant, which is always a plus, and the location is fantastic – just minutes away from the lovely beaches in Leland.A few things to be aware of for future guests: the upstairs layout can be a bit unconventional. Access to the main living space, kitchen, two of the upstairs bedrooms, and one bathroom requires walking through one of the upstairs bedrooms. Additionally, the bathroom connected to the upstairs King suite is also the main upstairs bathroom for general use, meaning if someone is using it, the King suite occupants might find their access blocked.Despite these minor layout quirks, the overall experience was excellent. We would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it, especially for groups who are comfortable sharing space!

The house fit our needs perfectly. The host was available if needed. The only concern was the driveway It was a bit risky since its on a curve but not big enough of an issue to sway us away from staying again

We had a great time! Shuffleboard was very popular (it needs a new bottle of sand though). Also the pictures online of the front yard/deck don't do it justice, it has an amazing view of the lake! We thought having to walk down some stairs and cross a road to get to the water would be inconvenient but the overlook from the house we got in exchange was definitely worth it.

We had a fantastic time at this property for the week. The property is as advertised. We enjoyed the fire pit every night and the amazing views. The location being so close to Leland is fantastic. It is a little difficult getting down to the dock and the lake (have to be careful crossing the road), but the lake is amazing.

This house was perfect for our family - bikes, games, chalk for the kids, a large number of water toys, and plenty of space for the 9 of us to spread out as needed. Like others say, crossing M-22 takes care, but wasn’t a big deal for us! Loved sitting on the deck, going for early morning kayaks…and Leland is just a mile up the road. Also - really appreciated the abundance of outdoor chairs, always enough seating for everyone. Just an FYI that the property doesn’t provide beach towels - this was a bit awkward for us as we were flying in from out of state, so had to buy them. Not a deal breaker by any means, more just helpful to know! All in all a great space and one we would love to return to.

We enjoyed our short weekend stay to attend a wedding. The bedding in addition to the linens was in place as per the photos. All was clean and inviting inside the house. The expansive new deck was awesome. The Drakes Bluff sign was not in place when we arrived and hopefully this is remedied for future guests. We did not use the Propane BBQ or kayaks during our stay however they were in place. We would stay there again for a multi family lodging.
