Beautiful place to stay with spectacular views.
We enjoyed this beautiful home with an unbelievable view! It was such a peaceful stay!
The cabin was lovely with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It was very clean and well kept. We being an older couple but still young at heart could have used a few more simple amenities. We like to brew our coffee so we ended up buying a Mr Coffee pot at Walmart. Also a few more kitchen gadgets like colanders for spaghetti ,salad spinner, iron skillet , etc would be a good items to add. A few small tables on the porch for snacks by the fireplace would be great. And replace the uncomfortable chunky dining table chairs. We love cooking in and enjoy eating at the cabin but those chairs are just wrong! Overall we did love the cabin and would recommend .
Great location. Get back to mountain before dark. Lots of extras included in home. We left it as clean as we found it?
This was a just us trip…so nice to just be and watch the colors change. Truly no need to leave the mountain top. ❤️
We really enjoyed the spacious cabin and sitting on the deck looking at the mountains. Well stocked kitchen. We cooked each night since we didn’t want to drive at night. Great bbq grill. Loved making a fire on the screened in porch while having our dinner Would definitely go back again.
Very pleasant place to decompress. Everything was as described. The views were absolutely beautiful. I would recommend anyone who needs a get away to come here. I would return here definitely. There is a property for sale on the same drive into this place that has me thinking. Thanks for a great experience!
We had a fantastic time and stay! Cabin is absolutely beautiful with a great view of the surrounding valley. Cabin is remote, but it wasn't difficult traveling to other locations, etc. Would definitely stay here again!!!!
The house was wonderful, comfy and well equipped. The view was fantastic. The drive up the mountain took longer than we had expected when we booked the cabin. Eating out at night was hard to do because we did not want to drive the mountain at night. We learned to eat a late lunch and then drive back. We enjoyed our stay!
Upon arrival, I took pictures to make sure the owner didn’t think we made the stains on the couch, left the fire alarm dangling from the master bedroom ceiling or water dripping and puddling in the bathtub. The cabin was in a beautiful location with amazing mountain views. We loved the back porch area, especially the fireplace on the screened porch. However, we have stayed in many cabins and this was the first time we were told to bring our own firewood, toilet paper and paper towels. The owner did let me know she’d have housekeeping leave enough wood and toilet paper for the first night. The rules also ask that you strip the linens and put those and the towels in the bathroom by the washer/dryer and to start a load of laundry prior to leaving……..but they had no laundry soap. I had brought some from home so I started the load prior to our departure. When we arrived, there were only two towels and one washcloth in the cabinet. It wasn’t until I did a load of our own laundry that I discovered additional towels in the dryer. We were instructed to take our trash to a refuse miles away upon departure.. We were going to sweep after my husband cleaned out the fireplace on the porch but there was no broom.. There was a swiffer, but the kitchen floor was sticky when we arrived which puzzled me. . I guess my question would be why do you have to pay a cleaning service fee when we did a huge portion of the cleaning? Wouldn’t your cleaning service thoroughly clean, replenish toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap for the load you’re required to start and firewood? We had no problem providing our own food and drinks which is customary. After messaging with the owner, we also had no problem purchasing our own firewood and toilet paper and paper towels. I just found it strange. As I stated in the beginning, the cabin was in a beautiful location and had amazing views. I sat on the porch morning and evening with a fire and it was very peaceful. We had neighbors, but you’d never know because it was nice and quiet.. We enjoyed our stay and when messaging the owner before our stay, she seemed to be a nice person.
