The house was amazing and we had a fantastic time. Clean and well maintained with everything you could ever need while staying away from home. We enjoyed our girls weekend and plan to be back again. Kelli was super and left us little welcome gifts which to me is above and beyond, thank you for your thoughtfulness!

This cabin’s pictures don’t do it justice, it is much more! And Kelli goes above and beyond on details. I will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful, fully equipped home in a quiet wooded area. The home is professionally decorated and the amenities are first class. The beds were so comfortable. We look forward to staying there again with our family.

This property was absolutely beautiful! The house was immaculate! Absolutely loved our time spent there!

The log house was a perfect venue for our family get together. The kitchen was well stocked with every pan, bowl, etc you would need plus the thoughtful things like spices and even plastic baggies for your goodies to take home or on your outings.The bedrooms were large and comfortable, although a little tall for little ones to get in & out of. The basement bedroom worked but is part of the entire basement floor, so we planned our time down there accordingly. The hot tub was ready for us on arrival and looked so inviting! While we had full intentions of using it, we never got in! The grounds were pretty and we enjoyed just sitting outside, overlooking the property, relaxing and chatting the day away.Independence as a town is tiny but Arcadia was close by and kept us busy with their weekend town celebration. We would definitely stay here again when we do a meet in the middle trip in the future.

We usually get a spring getaway scheduled with our children and our granddaughters. This home was immaculately clean, and so very comfortable to stay in. We enjoyed grilling out, the hot tub, and the fireplace at night once the grandchildren were in bed.We especially loved all the little touches — the chocolates at the bedside, the hot tub towels, warming blankets, etc. We also found all the area brochures and the schedule of events very helpful, as we went to the Elena festival and were able to do some of the carnival rides with our granddaughters.We highly recommend this home to other families!

Our family had an absolutely stunning Christmas stay at this hilltop cabin! We chose this home for our annual holiday trip and to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The host’s attention to detail is unmatched—from the handwritten note and Irish cream to the heated walkway leading to the hot tub (complete with towels and blankets right by the door!). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable for all of us. It truly felt like a home away from home. We didn't leave the property except to run to grab a few groceries we forgot. We made some of the best memories and made so many delicious meals we enjoyed using the Blackstone as well. We can't recommend this place enough!

The log home is gorgeous! It was so social to stay here near Christmas time everything was decorated and it felt like we were in a Hallmark Christmas movie for a week. Fireplace, baking cookies, doing a puzzle and relaxing. We didn’t want for anything she has provided absolutely anything one could possibly need. Was THE BEST experience I’ve ever had with a VRBO or AB&B. Thank you Kelli!

Hot tub was amazing!! Fire place felt so cozy, the set up of the rooms and the holiday feel was so great! We just loved how the house looked one of our dream homes for sure!

Everything here is perfect! Beautifully decorated, cozy, warm and roomy. Meticulous clean. Hot tub was relaxing and overlooks a beautiful landscape and the quaint town of Indendence. There's a Dollar General right down the road in case you forgot something. There is also a great antique shop in town, too. Kitchen fully stocked with literally everything you need to spend the weekend here. The Blackstone grill is very handy for burgers for dinner and scrambled eggs and french toast for breakfast. If you are still reading this just book it already. You won't regret it. Kelli is a top notch host! This place is incredibly welcoming! We'll definitely be back.

The house was a great space for our annual friends weekend. Our group of 8 friends had a wonderful stay. The basement bar area was a great hangout space and the hot tub was a fun added bonus. The only issue we had were the wasps in the outside deck and patio area. They were everywhere which made it hard to hang out outside for too long. This was likely due to the time of year we visited, though. We look forward to returning to this house!

Everything was wonderful. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms, roomy kitchen and lovely views.

The home is beautiful, very clean and had all the amenities one could have wanted/needed. The owners were very quick to answer questions we had. Hot tub was amazing, it had a radio with Bluetooth hook-up and was nice and hot. We had a little trouble getting the LP firepit lit but once we knew you just had to hold the button in longer than expected it worked perfect. We were already talking about booking again next year!

We had such a wonderful time at the Rosewood Lodge! The property is absolutely stunning with the most thoughtful hosting details and touches throughout the home. The thoughtfully stocked kitchen was a highlight! We had such a pleasant experience from our first to final exchanges with the property owners. This property is an absolute dream home and was such a special place for us to spend time as a family. The 12 person hot tub in the absolutely stunning, perfectly manicured backyard put an exclamation point on our stay. We plan to return in the future!

This location had every amenity possible, and then some. Very clean and very comfortable for our party of 8. The hot tub and adjacent firepit were enjoyed immensely with a lovely overlook of the town.You won't be disappointed.

We had an AMAZING time at this property. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house was WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN !! This is a beautiful property! This is the nicest VRBO property I have ever stayed at. Everything about it is quality-quality home, quality decor, quality landscaping, quality beds-everything was perfect. The property is located in a beautiful and quiet cul-de-sac which allowed for a very peaceful stay. The inside of the home is beautiful and comfortable, There is a large and very private deck and well-designed patio in the back of the property which served as a perfect evening hangout for our group. Kelli was an excellent host, communicated very well, and even left little welcome gifts for us to find upon arrival. She was great to deal with. This property suited our group perfectly and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay as well as a top-notch rental experience!!

Every detail of our stay was perfect, including 4th of July decorations and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was fantastic. We loved watching birds from the balcony. The kitchen was big and well stocked. There was a cute little drive in down the road for ice cream. We would be happy to return!

Our family enjoyed our week at the Rosewood Lodge. This is the most well-equipped and thoughtful VRBO we’ve stayed in, hands down. It really feels like a home with all the creature comforts you’d have at your home but forget to pack in a suitcase for a vacation. The sheets and beds were top comfort. The kitchen was beyond stocked. The views were outstanding! Hot tub was great to look at stars with the fire pit. We explored surrounding areas including La Crosse, Alma, Winona, Galesville, Wabasha, Eau Claire, Arcadia, and many small areas in between. independence is a quaint small town with very little to do to entertain, so we explored and observed - exactly what we needed in our get away! We rode our bikes on the Treampleau bike trail and put in the miles in both the flat and hilly country roads in small towns. Wonderful experience. Thank you!

Kelli had been very responsive and their home is gorgeous! Our little kids had so much fun and really enjoyed the outside where there was plenty of space to play. The large hot tub was an incredible amenity we all enjoyed. We could tell there was a lot of thought and details put into this location and space to make the stay memorable. Would return!

I always get nervous when it's a ladies getaway trip in the middle of nowhere but this location is just perfect. In the town but with so much privacy and seclusion --it was perfect. The perfect amount of space for 8 people, we didn't need to leave the property for anything and was able to utilize everything available! Kelli was very responsive but I didn't need much because everything was ready for us! My only suggestion is to change out the living room and dining room wall plates for the outlets. It was very hard to charge phones as the outlet is set deep in. Otherwise the place is perfect! Thank you!

It's a very nice cabin up on top of a hill in Independence, Wisconsin and we had a lovely time here! Very nice hot tub, lots of space to relax in, and the owners left little treats like cupcakes, chocolates, and non-slip socks for everyone! Definitely enjoyed our time here, likely to come back again!

Kelli is an amazing host. She communicated quickly to questions I had before we arrived and we felt so welcomed from the moment we stepped inside Rosewood Lodge. The special touches Kelli did was so heartwarming! She really goes above and beyond in my opinion!! The place is clean, well decorated, has lots of space and everything you could possibly need…just bring your bags, food and drinks! The cabin sits high on a hill so the view is wonderful (the trees didn’t have any leaves yet so that might not be the case when they fill in). Loved the hot tub to relax in. Everyone in our family definitely recommends this place and we would love to stay again!

Great private location with amazing views from the deck/hot tub. The owners went far out of their way to make it special, including fresh flowers, chocolates and a special gift. They’re also very responsive. Beautifully decorated and very clean, easy departure. Please note that the 4th bedroom is basically the entire basement (no walls/doors), not an issue for us but might be for some. Overall, the best rental experience we’ve had. Thank you!

My group of 9 had more than enough room to hang out and laugh. Great distance from the cities, far enough to feel disconnected, but not too far that is is a tedious drive. Would love to stay here again.

This cabin is so beautiful! Has all the amenities you could possibly need! Felt safe and secure. The whole cabin was spotless, unfortunately multiple of us are allergic to the tide laundry detergent which caused some minor issues, but doesn’t affect the rating! Beautiful location, view, and who doesn’t love a good hot tub!

The Rosewood Lodge was such a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy Christmas. Kelli thought of everything including all the beautiful Christmas decorations including a Christmas tree. Kelli was very helpful throughout the booking process, questions before arriving and during our stay. Definitely will be back. Our 15 and 17 daughters gave 5 stars!!!

Kelli had the home decorated for Christmas both inside and out! The home was immaculate, the hot tub was wonderful and sitting around the fire place with dear friends enjoying a glass of wine was exactly what we needed. We will definitely encourage others to stay here!!

The cabin is beautiful. The host is fantastic. This is the place to stay when you find yourself in Independence or surrounding area. Absolutely loved it. My 9 year old granddaughter gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin nestled at the highest point of the small town of independence, Kelli is absolutely wonderful and very accommodating, everything was immaculate, very cosy, roomy, spacious. We had a wonderful time spending thanksgiving with our family away from all chaos and busyness of life. Would definitely be back

My partner and I loved our stay. This cabin is even more beautiful and well laid out in person. Every detail is attended to. Communication with our hosts was great - they always responded right away. We arrived to a lovely note, a bottle of wine, and an impeccably clean, comfortable home We especially loved soaking in the hot tub every night. An unexpected bonus was viewing a spectacular display of the northern lights from the spa!

The house is lovely. Very spacious and very well equipped. This is my second time stating there and will likely be returning as it is a great place for a friend retreat.

Perfect layout of beds/baths. We had six siblings and never felt crowded. The bar in the basement was perfect for playing board games and cards. Gorgeous location.
