Nestled in the shadow of Mt. Hood in the lush greenery of the Pacific North West, this fantastic getaway awaits you and your loved ones. Find tranquility, adventure, and refuge as you relax at this charming property where the wildlife greets you in song every morning and fish are hopping in the river, a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Many attractions are within 15 miles of the home, including Silent Rock, Sandy Ridge Trail System for hikers, Mt. Hood Skibowl for those who love fresh powder in the winter, and many other local eateries and shops to explore.

Upon entry, you'll be greeted by a bright interior simply flooded with natural light thanks to the floor-to-cathedral-ceiling windows. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on the plush furniture, curling up by the wood-burning stove, or carrying on great conversations with loved ones. Hobby chefs will love preparing grand meals in the full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and a formal dining table. With five beds, there's more than enough room for everyone to get a comfortable night's rest from the day's activities. Stream a movie marathon together on the large TV in the sitting area downstairs when you have downtime, and kids can create memories in the playroom filled with toys. You'll love the deck, and be sure to gather everyone around the gas firepit for an evening of toasted s'mores and good conversation.

Drain in downstairs bathroom shower needs to be worked on, shower did not drain. Extra garbage bags and toilet paper should be better stocked. View was beautiful and proximity to the water was lovely!

This property is in a beautiful location, in the forest near the river. Lots of room throughout the cabin. The cabin wasnt as clean as we were hoping. It had cobwebs outside all over the exterior. Bugs in the basement, ants in the loft. The stovetop was filthy. Found food behind a couch. Overall, we loved staying here but it could use a good clean.

This cabin is near the river and has the best location to trails. It's very spacious. You can have several families, and still have enough room. The kitchen was well stocked. Great place to stay!

The river is like a background hum. It's there soothing without over powering. You can hold a conversation while letting nature wash the stress away. Send the kids to the playroom, or watch them fall out of the hammock from the deck. Take a nature walk up the river to a small sandy beach.

Overall, I had a very nice stay here. The small neighborhood around the property is quiet and there are several short trails in the neighborhood. The view out the two story windows is fabulous. The master bed was comfortable and I had no issues with the kitchen supplies. I did have issues with the heating and the master bath toilet. The toilet was clogging every time I flushed it (and I never flushed anything but liquids down it!!). Upgrading to a better toilet would be something I would highly recommend to the owners. Doesn’t cost much and makes a huge impact for your guests. On the heating: the listing showed the heating elements at the house was a wood burning stove. I’m very experienced with those and was delighted by this. However, the pile of wood under the deck outside was not covered very well and the small pieces near the edges were soaking wet. Towards the middle of the pile were log rounds. Not split pieces, so unusable for the stove in their present condition. There was also no kindling supplied. I messaged Vacasa about this issue, asking for assistance. They told me that I could go purchase my own firewood for the house and gave me an address 40 minutes away. That was all the input I received. Now, upon closer examination of the house,THERE IS BASEBOARD HEATING. And mauls/axes in the garage. And dry pieces further under the tarp. Poor communication to resolve my issue. I got my fire after all.

The house was very nice. The setup was perfect for a family. The downstairs worked great for my daughter, son in law and their baby. The river walk in was lovely! My only complaint was the cleanliness under the beds, tables and couches. toretrieve toys underbtheir

The house was clean, well furnished, and very cozy. The living room, deck, and loft all provided lovely views and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. The sound of the river and the forest views made for a very relaxing stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The river near by, the stocked kitchen, the cleanness of everything, the closeness to hiking trails, and to the store. So loved it there!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The highlight for us was sitting on the deck in the morning watching the sunlight come through the trees and listening to the river and birds. The layout worked really well for our family of six with ample room to gather together and plenty of bedding. We enjoyed be secluded while having a few restaurant and a grocery store within a 5 minute drive. The cabin is also within a 15 minute drive of some nice hikes and outdoor activities.

I had a great time with my group of friends at this house. If you walk along the trails you can find a great beach area to enjoy the river.

We really enjoyed the home and location. It is on a quiet loop in a vacation home neighborhood with trees and a babbling river out back. Beautiful accommodations and views through the woods. Very relaxing and peaceful.

The place was a lot of fun. 2 min walk to the river, small walking trail that goes around the neighborhood. Wish the playroom had windows and there were fewer stairs (had to keep a close eye on our 2 yo) but overall it worked great for us. It is also less than a 10 min drive to a grocery store and food options which made things very convenient. The river was flowing really strong when we were there (spring) so not a spot to swim but still had fun hanging out by it and enjoying the views (insider tip, walk a couple min to the right along the river path and then down to the rivers edge for an awesome view of Mt. Hood). Had all the items we needed to make food as well a small amount of laundry detergent, dish soap and even small personal soaps.
