Gorgeous Beachfront Home w/ Oceanfront Views, Deck, Beach Boardwalk & WiFi

Great location! Nice, relaxed vibe and close enough to town to walk- it’s a nice walk along the beach. Nice deck with comfortable chairs. Spacious clean rooms and bathrooms. As others have mentioned, the furnishings are dated. The kitchen was fine for the limited cooking we did, but the sink placement was really odd and it made cleanup a bit of a challenge. There are two doors out to the deck and both are tired and barely lock. To the credit of the owners they had a contractor visit to provide an estimate for door replacement (Aug 2025). The WiFi is spotty - on the deck I could see available WiFi from the neighboring houses, but not this house. Even though we had a really good stay at Folly, the value really wasn’t there with this house. On our next trip I’ll try to get a nicer updated house.

The house is beautifully situated on Folly Beach with direct beach access. The home is a spacious rental but it is not furnished like a “beach home” like many of the other properties on Folly. The furnishings are very poor quality and tired from the 90’s. Overall the property is not up to the standards that one would expect from a premium priced rental.The good:- location on the beach with beach access- spacious- Lots of parkingThe bad:- Property is very tired, hasn’t been updated since the 90’s- living room could have a beautiful view of beach but is blocked by a fireplace- what could be a den is a second dining area so nowhere to sit and enjoy the view- indoor furniture is mismatched with a blend of indoor and outdoor furniture that looks like it was furnished by frat boys at grandpa’s 90’s garage sale- only one small outdoor deck with a hodgepodge of mismatched furniture- many of the reviews from 2-4 years ago identified issues with the hardware for the back doors and the stove, but the same issues still exist today. The door knob still pulls off. - there appears to be an elevator, which would be extremely useful for luggage and groceries, but is closed off to rentersThe house has so much potential but just wasn’t well thought out and is very poorly furnished.

Our family of 9 adults stayed very comfortably. The breakfast/dining area was very roomy so meals at the house were easily accommodated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Enjoyed having coffee on the Oceanside porch every morning. Highly recommend.

Property is well equipped for a large group gathering. Our family group of 8 adults & a 2 year old had a fantastic time. This beach front home has everything you need for an awesome vacation get away!

Our 14th year and we are fans! Great property

Beautiful house with massive bathrooms for every room. 2 rooms on the main floor and three upstairs allowing for plenty of room. Nice covered porch for sitting and watching the waves. Two dinning areas also allowed for lots of space to spread out. Kitchen had two dishwashers that helped out a lot. Kitchen knives could use some sharpening and the temperature indicators on stove knobs were all worn off, which made initial cooking a bit challenging. All in all, though it was a great house that made for a great trip for our extended family.

House was stocked with more toilet paper and dish washer pods that any we have ever stayed it. TWO dishwashers were really nice.

Loved our stay! Great location, nice back porch and a nice house.

We really enjoyed our time in Folly Beach and Charleston. House was perfect for our group. We spent a lot of time walking along the beach in the mornings.

Great house, lots of space, and the view from the kitchen was spectacular!
