Gooseberry House- 3 Bd/2.5Ba just minutes from Standing Indian/Appalachian Trail

Beautiful house and property in a great location. Very close to some great hikes, we visited the farm across the street everyday to see the animals which my young daughter loved. Truly relaxing get away and the house met all our needs and beyond. Highly recommend. I hope to come back again some day.

We had another wonderful stay - our 4th. The rooms in the house are all spacious and comfortable. This year - and I don't know why I didn't do this sooner - I had my morning coffee on the front porch. Because of all the trees surrounding the property, the porch was cool even though it was a very hot July weekend. I alsays feel so rested and decompressed when I stay.

Loved working with the host- very responsive! Great sleeping options and space. The deck was wonderful for our family gathering. Private yet ver accessible! We’ll be back!!

This was our 3rd year staying at Gooseberry House and it is still a wonderful place to call home for just a little while. The house is clean and comfortable, as always. The new deck looks fabulous! (Rained so we couldn't use it but everyone said it looks great - very impressed.) We will be renting again next year.

The Gooseberry house was more than perfect for me and my bridal party to relax, and get ready in. Robyn was most helpful and pleasant in ensuring we had an excellent and successful weekend. She was very accommodating and quick in responding with all questions. I highly recommend Gooseberry!

The Gooseberry house is so comfortable and the location is wonderful in the woods. The beds are comfy and all the furnishings make it feel like home. A super place to rest and enjoy family!!

Communications with Robyn was very responsive and extremely accommodating. Last minute changes in travel plans required initial contact with Robyn late in the evening the night before requested check in with Robyn quickly responding and working on a solution to allow us to check in that following day. She even had her husband drop by early morning of check in to blow leaves off driveway, decks and outdoor areas. Home is extremely clean, very well maintained and equipped with everything one could possibly need to enjoy both the beautiful home and surrounding area. The secured fenced in yard provides such peace of mind for those with small children or dogs. Thank you for sharing your well loved home, we are so very grateful and look forward to visiting again many more times.

We have stayed at the Gooseberry house before and will continue to do so. Its fabulous! Very clean, comfortable beds, all the kitchenware you could possibly need, great all weather room. The satellite based internet does the job and if you're a hiker, then you're in your mecca.
