Stayed Apr 14, 2026This was a super spacious house with very comfy beds & nice comfy furniture. Everyone slept great. A/C & fans worked great. The dock & kayaks, even with the water so low, was a ton of fun & we even rented a houseboat--though the motor would not tilt, so a little nervous about being stuck in the mud. The ping pong was great & if you wanted tv, they had em! Only 1 puzzle, no games or books besides toddler sized connect four & tic-tac-toe. The owner was amazing at communication & providing info! The only things that didn't make it perfect: the towels in the master-one was stained & they seemed kinda tired, like ready for the garage. The kids' bath had much nicer towels. There were like 2 kitchen garbage bags, which I did not feel like I needed to provide a new box, so we started using grocery bags. There were no kleenex in any bathroom. And a lamp needed a light bulb. There was no cleaning spray for the counters that I could find, and there were ants (which was more likely from weather stripping on balcony door needing replacing), so I had to run out & buy quite a few things that seemed like should be available for a week stay.Having said that, I know it's tough for owners to keep some basics stocked especially if a visitor goes nutso using supplies, but tissues & something to clean counters seem like standard things. There was plenty of dishwashing pods but barely any laundry soap. I did 1 load of laundry.Easy but many turns drive to Clemson or Seneca.
