Quietside is a luxurious newly built house (2022) which is located on the tranquil side of Mount Desert Island. It is beautifully landscaped displaying a combination of moss,grass,trees and flowers.
Spacious backyard with firepit,grill and a gazebo and also allows for outdoor games and activities.

Stayed Sep 2, 2025The Golden Lantern is a beautiful house - Our group of friends had a very comfortable stay here! It Is comfortable & spotless - had everything we needed! The location was perfect for visiting Acadia, Bar Harbor with many restaurants close by! Will definitely come back!

Stayed Jul 16, 2024Very relaxing area convenient to the (mostly) less-crowded Acadia sites and Bass Harbor / Southwest Harbor restaurants and activities. House is in great condition and very clean. Everything went smoothly, leading to this very boring 5-star review.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024A nice home with a fabulous kitchen. Very comfortable with lots of seating for relaxing and for meals. 2 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms was a little tight - one bathroom is only accessed through a bedroom.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024My friends and I enjoyed our stay here very much. Close enough to bar harbor and Acadia but still secluded. First night was cold and we had trouble figuring out heat but eventually got it.
