Glimmering Shell Hideaway: Private pool, water views, & pool table - dog-friendly

The house was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The living quarters are cramped, but adequate. The house is close to the beach, but house next door is a mess and a large condo complex and elevated homes block the view.

This is a great property and we would stay again. There are some obvious wear and tear issues but mostly everything worked well. The pool and elevator were great! The A/C works great (almost too good)

We loved our stay at Gigi’s Getaway! From the great location to the fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need and more, it was wonderful! Just a short walk to the beach made it very convenient. The home is beautifully decorated and cozy with plenty of seating for everyone to hang out together. Also very convenient to walk for grocery, restaurants, shopping, ice cream etc.

Very spacious! Short 5 minute or less walk to the beach! The beach access was directly across from our street. The kitchen table was huge, plenty of seating. Enjoyed many family meals and game nights there!

Overall the house was fine. As mentioned in the above, a few things that we would have never expected and neglected. Addressing the items above would have made this the ultimate vacation home. BTW: The Vacasa attendants did a great job in retrieving our sodastream that was left behind. Thanks again Gloria!

Some tv remotes missing, pool furniture rusted and/ or broken, no outdoor shower head on shower, deck screws need resetting. Bedroom carpet needs attention. Whole house needs some cosmetic updates. Second time staying so it was evident of the differences. Had a great time with family overall!

The rental had plenty of room for my big family! My husband and I, along with three grown children and six grandchildren all had enough space! The bedrooms were separated so we had our space when we needed it. The kitchen and family room were big and roomy so we had a great space when we were all together. The kids loved the pool! We will definitely return to this rental!

We just stayed a week and had a wonderful time. The house was very well stocked with all amenities. We enjoyed both front n back screened in porches as well the back deck with the fenced in backyard for our Maltese to run n play in. Space inside the house was not an issue as we 4 beautiful bedrooms to choose from 2 of which had their own private bathroom. You are centrally located close to everything. We rode the golf cart to get ice cream, go to Food Lion, go to Beach (which was less than 100 yards from the house), go shopping, go out to eat. We loved everything about this place and will be definitely booking again and again.

The home is well laid out with satisfactory furnishings and good beach access. But needs major repairs of its systems and a good cleaning.

This house is set up for the beach crowd. Loads of beds and bathrooms. The location and a a few minutes from the beach, but there’s no view and the house next door is a dump.

We loved our stay here! Clean - well stocked - comfortable beds- and small issues we had, it was addressed immediately.

Very clean except for items mentioned above. Liked the pool and bar area.

This review is intended to be helpful and is in no way to be considered angry or malicious. I only wish to convey pros and cons of our stay as helpful feedback. Pros: nice size pool, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, well priced, quiet street, great to have 4 king beds. good variety of baths (walk-in and tub/showers), appreciate the suitcase stands in each room, very nice size dining table, great availability of TVs, enjoyed the pool table. Cons or areas of improvement: pool furniture is in need of replacement (rusted out frames, torn upholstery), 2nd floor center sliding door will open but does not close well (has to be lifted up and pulled strongly), would like shades/blinds on the kitchen and living room windows, would be much nicer with dimmer switches on the lights in the living room and kitchens, the grill is in desperate need of replacement (stand is collapsing).

Our two sons, daughter in law, grandchildren and dogs descended on Holden Beach for a week in August. House was perfect for our needs, located directly across from public beach access. Five large bedrooms, five baths, great pool, and an ELEVATOR which made move in and move out infinitely easier. We loved the house and would book it again

Quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach.

Public beach access is just a short walk down the street from the house. Intercoastal waterway is too far to enjoy the boats traveling through.

Very nicely decorated and stocked house. Many nice spaces to hang out. House is a lot bigger than the pictures depict. The yard is great as well as the 2 screened porch areas. Loved the daybed swing on the back porch. Great location, central to everything and the beach. I also have a home managed by Vacasa but it was rented so I found this house. Great find!

The house was less than 5 minutes walk to the ocean. 4 king size beds meant everyone got a big bed! The house was clean and gorgeous, the elevator made moving luggage up and down stairs a breeze. One of the best homes we've ever stayed in!
