Stayed May 8, 2025First let me say that we are from Columbus and were looking forward to our stay in German Village. Our general satisfaction with the German Charm 2 was less than stellar for the following reasons:1 -Lighting in the stairway and upstairs hallway was poor. The low light viability was hazardous at best. 2- The lighting in the stairway and at the top of the steps was also very dim and made using the steps perilous as well.3- While the bathroom looked beautiful the reality was that it wasn't functional. - Sink and faucet were so loose that you had to hold the faucet with one hand and use the other hand to turn the water off and on. It clinked against the bowl every time you used it. - No towel racks to hang wet towels, so we had to hang them at the end of the bed and on a hook in the bedroom. - Only 4 towels, 2 more would have been nice. - The shower supplies that were on the top of the tub on a tray had to be put on the floor or on the ledge which made accessing them very inconvenient. - I would suggest that there be some sort of a covering on the vanity top as water will damage it quickly, we tried to keep it as dry as possible. -The downstairs was functional (we didn't do any food prep this trip). - There were no additional paper products (napkins, tissues) bedsides the paper towels in the kitchen. - Again, the living room lighting was not as bright as it needed to be. - Check-out instructions made no mention of the bed sheets so we left them
