Gearhart Lakefront Oasis

It’s awfully temping to be selfish and write a bad review so that no one else discovers this perfect home. I’ve been working towards a promotion, working 10-14 hour days sometimes 7 days a week. After receiving the promotion, I desperately needed a weekend away to unwind, relax and reconnect with my fiancé - this home did not disappoint! We normally head to beach when reprieve is needed, but with such short notice we couldn’t find anything beach front. We were initially disappointed in the location but truth be told we never felt the need to venture out. We had exactly everything we needed. Wether your watching the sunset around the bonfire, or in the hot tub or just hanging out playing games in the backyard.. Heating things up in the sauna, or shooting a game of pool…The Lakefront home has it all! We felt very welcomed, relaxed and left satisfied, the perfect weekend away. Until next time… We will definitely be back

Host had great communication and was very accommodating. Lots to do in a great, quiet, neighborhood. Quick beach access was great. Perfect place for a family with young kids.

We had an amazing and relaxing time. Mo was the perfect host and all we had to worry about was how to fit in doing all the awesome stuff in the house in only two days. Would definitely love to come back.

Loved it. Posted on FB how much fun we all had. We had so much to do inside and outside that it didn’t matter it rained. Would recommend this home and am starting to look at another stay with my siblings next time.

We’ve been lucky enough to stay at this beautiful home multiple times. Each year we come back there’s something new to enhance your stay. I think we did most of it this trip again- fishing, kayaks, hot tub, game room, grill, etc! The house is always very clean and well stocked with any kitchen appliances you might need, too. We love to stay here!

Outdoor activities were fun for all ages.

This place was perfect for our 6 women adventure group. It has a beautiful setting with plenty of activities at the home and property. We did many of the activities at the house and there were still many more we could have chosen. The site of the home is in a great place-we did activities in Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach and the beaches at all, as well as drove to Tillamook Factory. Easily reached our host and received helpful answers, a generous host to share this wonderful vacation home!

We have never seen a home with more amenities than this home! The owners covered every base imaginable!! There is every game for every age there, a jungle gym, water sport equipment and the kitchen equipment for coffee and cooking rivals any home!! The home rates a solid 10!!

The property is perfect for gathering with family and the location is perfect for uncrowded fun. I'm not sure what the kids enjoyed more, chasing waves at the beach or paddling around the lake in a canoe!

This was our second stay here, and won't be our last. This house has everything. Even rainy days are good days here. The covered patio, hot tub, fire table and outdoor kitchen are a big plus. We saw wildlife every day in the yard. What a treat! Inside the house there is so much to do also, with video games, foosball, pool, ping pong, etc. Being on the lake instead of the beach also has an advantage: virtually no wind. The beach is close by, too.

Great place for family time. Even caught a fish from the dock!

This was our forth VRBO during a 2 week family trip. What a wonderful way to end our trip. The house was extremely roomy and well appointed with more than enough to keep us all entertained! There were games, a pool table, fooze ball, air hockey, and many other indoor and outdoor games. We were able to prepare lots of family dinners in the well equipped kitchen. The house is located on a beautiful lake where we saw all kinds of birds, including an bald eagle. One day we had 3 elk stop by for a visit. If you want to go the beach, it's a short drive away. My husband even had some fishing time right off the onsite pier. The host was very responsive when we had questions.

This is a great property for a large group. Right on the lake - lots of gear for water sports. Pool and ping pong tables. A game room. This place had it all. The owner was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Girls trip of 6, plenty of comfy beds, perfect with 3 bathrooms. Wonderful, open floor plan, plenty of seating. Need to come back when the weather is nicer, tons of outdoor fun/amenities/space. Lots of extra touches, great communication. Wildlife too!

It was a beautiful place to stay for a birthday celebration with 5 of my best friends! The home was loaded with plenty of dishes, flatware, cooking utensils with firewood and lighter fluid to make outside easy to use. The only downfall is that we didn’t stay long enough! 3 days was not enough for us to play all the games and get out the outdoor water activities. Next time will be longer and we cant wait to go back!! Thanks for a great experience!

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful lakeside property. Very clean, well maintained and with a really well stocked kitchen. Lots of amenities and many options in the game room. The host was very easy to reach and extremely helpful to get us settled in, a big thank you to him for making our stay as memorable as possible. Hope to return in future, would highly recommend this place to others!

Property had lots to offer, sauna, spa, dock. Owner did not know inventory of gear on property. Specifically we asked if they had a crab pot for soaking overnight, they said no but indeed they had one after we had to pack our own and bring. There was a mouse in the laundry room. Location not ideal, tucked way into the community, quite a drive off the freeway so took significant time to get to a grocery store. Lots of confusion at check out. Charged us extra for cleaning for basic things like sweeping kitchen floors.

Wonderful family experience. Extremely welcoming with so many extra touches, you feel pampered and taken care of in all the right ways. Beds are very comfortable with amenities all around to assure that your experience is a memorable one. Private location, crickets, deer, birds of all kinds…It is s truly a magical place to relax and enjoy family time. Already planning our return. Host is just as gracious as this home is. Highly recommend this property.

Had a great time with family. So many fun things to do. Property manager was great. Perfect long weekend.

This house has it all! My teenage grandkids loved all the activities available basketball, volleyball, pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, foosball, horse shoes, corn hole and especially all the boats, kayaks, paddle boards (and life jackets). In the morning you can sit outside with a coffee and watch the wildlife on the lake and the deer come get a drink. At night there was s’mores at the fire pit, hot tub and sauna for relaxing. The kitchen is very well stocked including an air fryer and the outside patio has a huge gas grill, Traeger and a pizza oven. The beds are comfortable and every bedroom has a TV. The location is great, between Seaside and Astoria. Communication was easy and prompt. We’ll definitely be back!

This is the second time we have stayed here - great for families - they have thought of everything to make it a fun and comfortable stay for people of all ages.

This Gearhart gem was jam-packed full of amenities for all ages. We brought four teenagers and to their sheer happiness, boats, canoes, pong-pong, gaming, fishing, a sauna and more delighted them during our stay. A great central location between Astoria and Seaside, easy to find, and be a good home base for sightseeing. The host communications were excellent and our needs were met with this gem, did I mention walking paths to the beach! A must stay on the North Coast!

While our original plan was to have some friends join us, that didn't work out at the last minute. However, the two of us still had a fabulous time at this wonderful home. The home was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen very well stocked, and the outdoor amenities were amazing including the firepit. My husband fished from the dock, the kayaks were great on the lake, the view was lovely and we had an easy walk to the beach. The beach, at least during our July stay, was very lightly attended so our dog had a great time running along the beach and in the surf. Communication with owner was excellent. We loved our relaxing time here and will definitely plan to come back when we visit the coast again--perhaps next time with grandkids. They'd love the entire setup too, with swings, foosball, sand toys, and all the other options. A great home!
