Charming Handcrafted Coastal Retreat

Everything was great! Nice location convenient to Astoria, groceries a couple of blocks away, beach and Fort was a short distance as well. House was very comfortable, clean, and check in and out was easy!

Spent a lovely three nights catching up with family and this was the perfect house! Lots of room for everyone, all the little things were provided, short drive to the beach and grocery store and Astoria. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Really enjoyed it!

Check in and out was easy, the kitchen is well stocked, but we found some of the stove burners weren’t working but there are plenty of them that got the job done. Plenty of room for everyone in our group of 8 adults.Loved that it was a block from a major grocery store!

A very nice home and location. Three couples were very comfortable there. Would give it a 5 star except for under beds needed some cleaning attention, but that was it, the rest was very very nice! Would recommend!

Overall generally ok with the rental. Easy in, easy out, and clean. Pool table was fun for my sons to pass a little time. The advertisement is misleading relating to having a hot tub. There is not hot tub in the normal sense. I was expecting to be able to sit on patio / outside and enjoy a hot tub soak. Instead, what we found out was that the “hot tub” was really just a jetted tub in the master bedroom. My sons were disappointed for sureAlso, there was a fire pit but it had a cover on it and no rules or regs around the use of it. Lastly, neighbors across street took photos of us when we arrived. I’m guessing they take exception to the property being a rental? Renters shouldn’t be subjected to that….was awkward to say the leastAccess to Astoria and seaside was perfect. Right in the middle.

This house had something for each of the eight of us, ages 8 to 77. The Hobbit Hole was perfect for the 8 and 10-year old; the pool table was great for all; the fire pit provided great s’mores. The “hot tub” would be better described as a jacquzi in the master bath.We enjoyed the day at the nearby beach with the Wreck of the Peter Iredale.

This house is great for a large group! It has plenty of space to spread out, multiple bedrooms/bathrooms, well stocked kitchen and the backyard is super cute! I would love to come in the summer and enjoy the fire pit. The host was very responsive. Will definitely be back!

We had a girls weekend at this coastal retreat and were quite pleased with the property and location. There were 5 of us, and each of us had our own room. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean and lovely. The location was great because it was close to Astoria where we spent some time during the days. Overall, I would suggest this property for a group of friends or a family.

Our family of 5 adults had room to spare. Pool table and outdoor area was fun to have. Thank you for an accurate portrayal of the rental, we recommend it!

This property was incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The backyard area with the fire pit and patio were so picturesque, two rooms had sweet little balconies, and the pool table was a fun plus! We will definitely keep this place in mind for return trips.

We returned again this August to the eaglesnest... Love the layout, fun decor, plenty of bedrooms, and comfortable. Perfect for a medium/large group.

A fantastic get away when you are going for fishing. Hosts were very accommodating and when we left luggage behind they shipped it for us. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay, the house was perfect. The kitchen has everything you need, plenty of bath towels. The kids came in the house saying this is the best house ever. They loved the pool table and the hobbit room. Thank you for sharing your cute house with us. I would highly recommend this house.

The house was great, the kids loved the hobbit room and fire pit in the back yard was a nice addition for making smores.

A lovely updated vacation home with private backyard nestled in a grove of trees, enjoy bird watching each morning with your coffee! Plenty of room for our family, we prepared meals in a well equipped kitchen and enjoyed a barbeque on the back porch. It was an easy walk to Fred Meyer for last minute ingredients for a banana cake. Only about a 10 minute drive to Astoria.

Easy check in. Fun house - kids loved it. Most comfortable bed ever!
