Gated Community, walk to Private Beach, Hot Tub, BBQ (EP439)

The view of the lake was incredible and we enjoyed using the hottub. All the dishes in the dishwasher and kitchen cabinets were dirty when we arrived. This was very unsanitary and caused us to spend a lot of time cleaning when we arrived so that we could use the kitchen.

Amazing views! Comfortable beds my family and I had a great experience our hosts were quick to answer questions and gave us clear instructions on check in. I would recommend to everyone.

Great location very responsive staff house has amazing views.that being said the house cleanliness is lacking.lights are out.cob webs are a plenty. Hot tub is not working properly. Garbage was overflowing when we arrived. Drains are not flowing properly. House needs a deep cleaning inside and out and some TLC. Decks are dirty and covered in pine needles.

Beautiful views from both decks, lots of room for a family of ten, loved the hot tub. Has an Old Tahoe feeling and updated kitchen and baths. No soap in the showers and no tissues in bathrooms, plus some dust and cobwebs around a window or two. Broken shade in dining area. Nice easy walk to the beach.

Not World Class. I did a previous review detailing our stay. There was a mouse in the kitchen. Windows dirty and full of spiderwebs. Broken ice maker. Outdated worn furniture and beds. Home was clean and had a nice view of lake. Wouldn’t give us parking access to the beach and the steps and walkway to the beach were damaged and closed off. Disappointed in the property for the price we paid.

The property is in a prime location in a gated community with access to a private beach which was awesome for our family. The number of beds/baths was the primary reason we chose this property as it was large enough to accommodate our family. The property was also convenient to Edgewood CC for the ACC golf tournament we were attending. However, we were very disappointed in the condition of both the interior and exterior of the house as it desperately needs a DEEP cleaning. The floors are dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere inside and out. The entire exterior of the home needs a good power washing. We also had a nightly visitor come out from under the stove. The backyard “oasis” as described on the website had a pile of junk near the back door entrance and the BBQ and “patio” area were filthy with old junky furniture. The interior is dark and dated and the kitchen is not very well equipped. The two front bedrooms on the 2nd floor need blinds or blackout drapes to keep the sun from beating in and making both rooms extremely warm and uncomfortable. Ceiling fans in those roomsas well as the dining area would be a good addition since the property does not offer A/C. Parking in the so called “driveway” was challenging with larger vehicles. The description and pictures on the website make the property look way more appealing than it looks in person. We certainly expected more for the price we paid for a weeks stay.

Our family enjoyed our 3 day stay at this property. Beautiful view and close to beach access. Good house for mixed age groups. Only thing to note is that there is limited parking and many steps up to the house. Property manager was very responsive and accommodating.

We absolutely loved the space. Drinking out coffee on the porch looking at the lake felt like a scene out of a movie. And on our last day it snowed and was just so perfectly picturesque. Plenty of space for 8 adults and good common space for board games!

Went with my family and we thought the location was great and the private beach was beautiful! Would recommend the cabin just wish the water when taking a shower would come out warmer.

This rental was very disappointing what we encountered. First of all we flew in from Georgia and arrived after 11pm and right off the bat the light from garage up to cabin did not work. Most of the light bulbs in the cabin did not work. All the plugs were pulled from outlets so very frustrating when trying to turn lights on. Also when entering the cabin it was freezing/come to find out the following morning 4 windows were left open. The bath towels to use had to be over 5 years old and were awful/hard. There was also just 1 potholder that was thin as tissue and didn’t realize this until something needed to be taken out of the oven. No laundry detergent was available. No beach towels available. The garage door is about to snap/ you can visually see that the spring is off and ready to snap. The downstairs bathroom in the hall was running when we got to the cabin. We tried jiggling the flap but that didn’t work. Someone had to have heard this running while cleaning. I turned the water off in this bathroom. We did not receive any check out instructions until 10:00 pm the evening before we left. Overall this is not a property we will rent again and apparently your management of this property is very poor.

Comfortable home in a fantastic location. Walk to private beach or state park. Great Lake Tahoe views from decks. Newly renovated bathrooms. Spacious primary bedroom. Backyard with hot tub works well for cookouts. Some broken blinds and dirty windows were a bit surprising considering price point for this home.

Location was great, nice views of the lake and trees. Very short walk to the private beach area. Neighborhoods is friendly, clean, and quiet. The residence itself could use some work, several lights were out, causing us to use flashlights to get down to the garage and around the bedrooms. The floors were atrocious, our one year old was covered in dirt from crawling in the hardwood floors. There were also several cobwebs on lamps and other furniture items. The kitchenware could use some updating, making dinner for 10 people is hard with only two pans and pots. In all honesty, this wouldn’t be my first choice booking.

This is a very nice property with access to private beach. The house was spacious and large accommodating a party of 10 easily. Rooms and bathrooms were clean but only stocked with hand soap. Minor inconvenience but grocery store less than a mile away for shampoo, body wash and supplies. Kids love swimming at the beach and kayaking in the morning. Zephyr Cove nearby for your fishing charter. Highly recommended.

We loved the location. The beach was so nice with very few other people there. Parking was a little tricky because the driveway is short. We put one car in the garage and the other in the driveway. The upstairs got warm at night and some of the fans weren’t working.

Beautiful location and lovely little community. The house was as described aside from the lack of information about the tiny driveway. We came with two trucks and it was very challenging to park here as there is no street parking and the driveway was extremely short. Upon entry the house was dirty on the main level. Lots of dust and dirt everywhere. The floors were very dirty it was uncomfortable to take our shoes off in the house. Management company was responsive to my questions. It would be helpful if wifi info, rules, check out and check in procedures were printed and posted just like in other short term rental properties. .The beds were comfortable and the house was large and fit our family. Cute little backyard and the bbq for grilling worked well.

Great rental in a great neighborhood. Lots of room for large group or family.
