Stayed May 23, 2023Simply one of the best accommodations we ever had. Beautiful house with a beautiful private garden. Quiet place even though you are immediately in the center of attractions when you step out of the door. Thanks to our host Alison, who was there for everything in case needed.

Stayed Apr 17, 2023How lucky were we that we got to stay in such a beautifully kept home and garden! The house was immaculately clean, and very well stocked with linens and dishes. The garden was enjoyed with it's multiple areas to sit and relax. The landscaping is beautiful, and scented with flowering trees and roses. It was easy to check in and our stay was peaceful and relaxing.

Stayed Aug 21, 2022If the historical monuments are the party, this home is the guest of honor. She is adorned with colors abound from the festive garden and inside shines with light from old and new. The large windows bring in wonderful light and colors from the gardens. The rooms inside are cool and well furnished. The kitchen also has a marvelous view of the gardens and fully equipped. We all enjoyed the fact that the house always had extras of everything. The bathroom is modern and well equipped. The pool is a jewel amongst the various blooming gems in the garden. It provided reprieve on some of those scorching days. Alison was a tremendous help on the area, finding transportation and responding in a timely manner. This house's location was an easy walk to everything, short drive the the beach, and surrounded by much history, it will not disappoint.

You will not go wrong with either of theses homes. Alison Moral is the perfect owner and manager for these properties. They have many affordable and beautiful vacation homes. See you in October Allison

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We are a family of 5 traveling the world for a year. We have stayed in rental homes all over South America, South Africa and Greece. This charming cottage in Selcuk is one of our favorites! Alison and Memet's hospitality is exceedingly gracious. We had originally planned to stay for 2 weeks, but loved the place, Alison, and the surroundings, so we added several nights. Two friends who are also traveling met us in Selcuk in their camper, which Alison helpfully allowed us to set up just outside the home's gate. The camper was safe and secure out there, with an electrical hook up. As cooks and food-lovers, we especially enjoyed the cute, excellently equipped kitchen. Plenty of cookware, utensils, crockery and glasses with a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Grocery stores and fresh-food markets are within an easy walking distance, as are wonderful bakeries and sweet shops. We prepared and ate most of our meals in the house including a lovely dinner at the garden table under the stars. The rooms and beds were comfy. We loved the open closets and chests of drawers; we unpacked and made ourselves at home. We also appreciated the easy-to-use wash-machine, along with the extra bed linens and bath towels. Thanks to the outdoor living area, the Garden House had space for each of us to carve out a little privacy when needed. The roses were in bloom when we were there, lovely! The swimming pool that is shared with Goldsmith House next door was still a bit cold while we were there, but we still had a great time splashing about, especially after days sightseeing in the sun. We enjoyed so many ancient sights around Selcuk, most within walking distance of the Garden House. Isa Bey Camii, St. John's Basilica, Selcuk fortress/castle, the Roman aqueduct, Temple of Artemis, Mary's House and, of course, the city of Ephesus a nice hike away. The newly renovated Ephesus museum was absolutely amazing! Alison also helped us with excursions further afield. She organized a driver and van for us to visit the Roman spa city of Hierapolis and the famous travertines (aka Cotton Castle). She had friends who own a rug manufacturing and sales store host us for a lunch and display of beautiful Turkish rugs (with absolutely NO pressure to buy). She helped us get to the Tire market by dolmus and (for the teens) to Aqua Fantasy, a fun water park. We absolutely recommend this house to groups traveling in Selcuk. We sincerely plan on returning someday.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I were looking for a nice house with outdoor space as a comfy base camp to relax between days out in the astonishing nearby ancient ruins. The house is in top order, really clean with modern kitchen and lots of space to sit out in the sun and have meals outdoors. Very private, off the street and easy walk into the town. We thought Selcuk would be boring and dull but instead it gave us an opportunity to see a real Turkish town vs, resort town. Lived off several really good bakeries with their own ovens, diaries with super fresh and thick yogurt and the ladies in the market square that sell fresh veg and fruit. Also giant market on Saturday to explore. Alison was fab in helping us and it really helped that she spoke English. Her office is a short walk from the house, She arranged a car to take us to some of the nearby ruins so if you prefer not to rent a car that is a possibility. Plenty of restaurants in town and Alison will help you out on finding the good ones. We had a fire in the fireplace as day after we arrived was a tad chilly then nice warm sunshine followed. This is a good place to slow down step back and unplug without any hassles. Beer and wine in the grocery stores and if you like a tipple you won't be made to feel uncomfortable. Really lovely coming home to your own smart house in private grounds just off center of town after a day out exploring. Been to Turkey many times but this was different in a good way - highly recommend it.
