Great location on the beach, comfortable beds and furniture, well equipped kitchen. The main problem was several large roaches that came out even while people were up in the evening with the lights on. Maybe 50 or so additional baby and young roaches - we killed many of them, but they were replaced each night with more.

House is updated and comfortable (beds, sofas, good AC). We like to cook, so we appreciated the decent kitchen facilities and cooking utensils. View of the marsh on the other side is nice from the front porch.

Dowitcher was the perfect home for our multigenerational group! Everything was clean and prepared for us when we arrived and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need for the week. Easy beach access was very important for us and the oldest and youngest amount us had no issues navigating the sand to ready the beach. We would love to stay here again!

Love the location and the area and the location of the home on the beach, however during our stay we encountered several roaches. Specifically in 2 of the bathrooms and bedrooms (we did not have any food in these areas). This was very frustrating as these are not the types of souvenirs you want to take home from vacation. We loved the area and will probably come back will just select another home
