Fully Renovated Cottage by the Sea!

Property was nice. Kitchen is tiny, hard to fit more than one person in there at a time. We are a family that likes to cook. We hosted our entire family (about 20 people) 2x and preparing the meals was difficult. The screened in patio and backyard were well used although mosquitoes made it challenging.

While the location is great, and the bathrooms were clean, the rest of the house was run down. The indoor couches, rugs, cushions were all dirty and smelled. The outdoor couch cushions were not only filthy, but so waterlogged as to be unusable and the screens on the porch doors were all torn. Rehoboth Realty, and our contact, Chris, were the biggest disappointment of all. They were aware the dishwasher was broken (due to mouse damage, which we also in our supplies) when we arrived, and chose not to tell us. Chris disregarded our request to reschedule the repair, so we would not have to give up half of our last full day.

Such a nice property, steps away from the beach! The property manager is extremely helpful with any questions you might have but we will give you the rundown: Lots of bedrooms/beds to sleep at least 10. *Upstairs main bedrooms are right under the roof so the ceilings are slanted with beams and if you aren't careful you will bang your head. We all did.* Plenty of bathrooms/showers for everyone. Small galley kitchen which makes it hard for more than two ppl to be in at the same time. Large living space to hang out in. The back porch, however, is where it's at. Huge screened in porch with picnic table AND ping pong table. We spent most of our time here. The backyard is nice, has playset for children and seating with fire pit. *Unfortunately, we could not sit out there because the cushions were covered in loads of dirt and bird poop. This was a huge bummer.* The upstairs also has a small balcony overlooking the backyard. All in all, we would definitely go back. It is a lovely property with a few hiccups that can be overlooked by the proximity to the beach Pet-friendly too!! The screened in back porch was clutch for our dog. There is also an EV charger on site.

Great location for beach access. Ping pong and fun outdoor space.
