Fully Renovated, Charming Craftsman Home in Downtown Paso Robles Wine Country

Great renovated Craftsman very close to Plaza. The updated open kitchen worked out well for our party of five adults. We did upstairs bathroom for guys and basement bath for gals. Quiet, clean, and well decorated. We'll be back with three couple fall wine trip.

Wonderful location, adorable home, all the amenities you need! Will definitely here again in future!

Better than advertised!

Lovely over 100 year old house that has been updated while keeping its craftsman style. The six of us had a great time hanging out on the porch and playing games at the dining table. I would highly recommend this house!

Very nice cottage, instructions were very helpful, host was very responsive. We had to stay 2 nights instead of 3--we would have liked to stay a third night. Thoroughly enjoyed the wedding and seeing our families.

I was very impressed with our recent stay at Heaton House. Our party of three couples was in town for a few days of wine tasting, shopping, and dining, and the space was gorgeous.As a group that typically prepares breakfast and picnic lunches, we found the kitchen to be the most well-equipped we have ever experienced. The appliances are first-class, and there was an abundance of glassware, plates, and cookware that made it a pleasure to use.The living room and bedrooms were very comfortable, and both bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained. While the second bathroom is located in the basement, it was no inconvenience at all. Although we didn't have the chance to use the backyard or BBQ, the outdoor space was beautiful.I am quite selective when it comes to vacation rentals, and this is hands-down a fantastic place to stay. It is clearly well-maintained and reasonably priced. I would definitely reserve Heaton House again for a future trip to Paso Robles.

Perfect location and a great house to visit Paso. Kitchen was fully stocked, even though we ate out every night, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was as pictured and very clean. Thomas was very helpful. We will be back.

What a charming house. We felt so comfortable as if we’re our own home. It was clean with such a roomy, well equipped kitchen.It was so convenient to the square, shopping and restaurants.We’re already planning our next trip back to The Heaton House!

We stayed at the Heaton House as a family getaway with our toddler and baby. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The proximity to downtown was the best part - we could easily walk 1.5 blocks to restaurants, the park, farmer’s market, etc. The town is very kid friendly. The house is, however, located near a main street and close to fire station/police station so it could get noisy at times.

We loved the location.

Host was very timely in getting us information. Place was very nice and remodeled very well. We really enjoyed it. Two items to note. Basement is in the basement. We missed that on the VRBO write up although it was stated twice. It did work well and bathroom was nice, could have had a finished bathroom floor and a heater as it gets cold down there. We also didn't realize that a push button was located bolted to the fence for exit out of the backyard it the gate was closed.We did make it worked and enjoyed the house. Thanks

Cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, nice location.We couldn’t find the overhead lighting for kitchen. A mirror in third bedroom would be appreciated! All in all a great place to stay. We may be back

The house is in a very good location within walking distance to downtown. Kitchen is nicely appointed with dishes, pots and pans, etc. The backyard is very nicely landscaped and has several sitting areas.

We had a fantastic stay in Paso Robles! The house was in great condition and truly perfect for our visit. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. We especially appreciated how well equipped the home was…plenty of fresh towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. It made our stay easy and enjoyable. We’d happily stay here again!

Beautiful original craftsman style home with all the modern conveniences. The Heaton House was spotless, and had all the conveniences we could ask for. You won’t find a better location to stay near the center of downtown Paso Robles. The aromas coming from the Buona Tavola restaurant right around the corner were an unexpected bonus. We would definitely stay at the Heaton House again. Thank you Thomas!

Great place and great location and overall very good stay. Only downside was the WiFi connection which was basically nonexistent and we had to use all the data from our phones to stream the tv. Now I have throttled data until my next phone billing cycle is up. Other than that inconvenience, really nice place.

The location was amazing, and the home itself was just precious. Loved our stay here!

The house is very well equipped and the location could not be better. The 5 (seniors) had a great time walking the neighborhood, eating at nearby restaurants and enjoying the Central Coadt. Thanks for the hospitality.

This was the best VRBO experience that I’ve had in a long time. We are all over 65 and the house was well equipped for cooking, grilling, nice assortment of drinking and wine classes, etc.. We are already planning to go back.!

The Heaton House was perfect for our long weekend getaway with friends and family. We had 6 adults in our group and it was perfect for us. Location was great- walkable to the town square. When we come back to Paso Robles, we hope to stay here again.

My family of four recently stayed at this lovely home for a family getaway. The house has so much charm and character. It is beautifully decorated, well stocked, and is very close to shops and restaurants. The check in process was easy and Thomas was very communicative. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location in town. Walkable to all restaurants and bars. House itself is cute, really well done, and very well stocked. Had everything we needed. Communication was easy, and they gave us an early check-in time before I even asked. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay again.

This was a fantastic place to stay for our visit to the Mid State Fair. The free shuttle is .1 miles away from the property. It was close to wineries and Tin City. The house was perfect for 3 couples, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds. We will stay here again next time we attend a concert at the fair.

Our stay was perfect…Location was EXCELLENT!!! House was absolutely charming & couldn’t have been any cleaner! Was just a short distance to wineries. Don’t miss Daou - views were incredible & as is their wine. Day 2 was Austin Hope which was also lovely!

Located in the middle of town one block from a community park that is surrounded by a fascinating array of restaurants and shops. Walk everywhere. We loved it!

We absolutely loved this home! It was the perfect place for us to stay to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Cal Poly. It had everything we needed and was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our walks into downtown for coffee each morning and strolls through the park. We highly recommend and would stay here again! Thank you!

This house was perfect for our multi generational vacation. The proximity to shops and restaurants was a huge bonus! We loved the historical details of the house. Just wish you had a book about the house and the Heaton family!

We were in town for a wedding and had a great time staying in Paso Robles! If you want to be able to walk to the Square and restaurants and shops then this is where you want to stay. The house is updated and even has outdoor space. Overall, it’s a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay here as a family. The beds are insanely comfortable, kitchen is well-stocked and house is walkable to everything in downtown Paso, including a great playground our son loved. Would absolutely stay here again!

This house is exactly as advertised— a beautifully renovated home right next to downtown Pasó Robles. It is the perfect spot for a home base for a trip here. We walked to restaurants, shopping and wine tasting. The owner’s guidebook was simple and full of great suggestions. Highly recommend this home! Would definitely stay again.

We could walk to everything in town!! House was wonderful for 6 Ladies, great kitchen. Would have prefered the downstairs area to be a bit more welcoming with the concrete floors it was a bit cold looking and the stairs were not the best but it all worked out. Would absolutely stay again

It's a beautiful morning as you wake up in the most comfortable bed. Quitely you walk across the wood floor to the well appointed kitchen to make some coffee, and sit on a rocking chair on the front porch watching the neighborhood wake up. Once your friends wake you take two block stroll into downtown Paso for a hearty breakfast in preparation for a day of wine tasting. When you return you open a cold rose from one of the wineries you visited and sit out back in Adirondack chairs looking at the stars and remembering the day, A short walk to a local restaurant for a local farm fresh dinner and then turn in for the night. Perfect stay in a lovely, well appointed craftsman in the heart of Paso. Book it now !

Stayed here for 3 days to attend a wedding. Everything was great. Lots of extras in the house and close to everything downtown. Had a great time. Walked to all wedding events.

This place is a hidden gem! The property is absolutely adorable and comfy for all ages. Its location is an easy walk to downtown where we enjoyed the Christmas tree lighting, shopping, restaurants and the best pop up Christmas bars! Such a beautiful town. we will definitely be back!

We had a delightful time in Paso Robles in the Heaton House. The house is a beautiful craftsmen house very close to the square in downtown Paso. We could walk to many restaurants and tasting rooms. on the square. The Christmas decorations were fun to see from our front windows of the house. The house was just as described. A perfect place for a getaway. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to make a nice meal. We would stay here again for sure.

A lovely, fully renovated historic home in a perfect location - literally downtown Paso! The kitchen and upstairs bathroom are fabulous. The only oddity is the one bathroom in the basement. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Such a cute house!!! It’s an older house with lots of character, but it’s been nicely remodeled. Very spacious, kitchen was amazing, and the location was perfect - walking distance to the downtown square. There were 5 of us girls and it was absolutely perfect for our wine getaway!

House was perfect. Nice stay and proximity to town and restaurants was great.

House was exaclty as pictured and described. Fantastic new open kitchen, dinning room and living room.Bright and airy, clean and minimalistic. Great new beds, and linens. New bathroom. Only negative is 2nd bathroom is in the basement. Although we knew this, still a negative.We mainly used upstairs bathroom, which was very nice. Nice backyard patio and gardens, better if patio heater worked. Cooler evenings 55 degrees, but heater broken and no assistance. Overall I recommend.

The location and cleanliness of the house was great. The house has been remodeled and the backyard (entertainment area) is really well done. Plenty of parking is also a bonus. The only draw back is there are no TVs in the bedrooms. When you need a TV to fall asleep to it makes it tough. Other than that its a really nice place to stay.

Everything was great except we couldnt get the TV to work to watch the Dodger game which was very disappointing, just glad they won!

You can’t go wrong renting this house. We went for a fun girls weekend and not only was the house well appointed and comfortable, the location couldn’t be better. My only fear is that it will be so popular I won’t be able to rent it again in the future 😀
