Hiking trails, fishing ponds, large area for boat parking. Three miles from Mississippi and Turkey river access. Clayton county is an ATV friendly riding is permitted on all county roads. Stayed Sep 1, 2018We had an amazing weekend. This farmhouse is beautifully decorated. It feels like home the moment you open the door. Beautiful views, hikes to the fishing ponds and a very convenient location to the Mississippi. This is a must stay and we will be returning each time we are in NE Iowa

Stayed May 14, 2026House is a remodeled turn of the century 1900s) farmhouse, with plenty of history and modern touches. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. Beautiful property and close enough to town to explore. Enough bedrooms for 8. Quiet place to relax. Will stay again!

Stayed Apr 6, 2026Great location and the cutest house! Bedrooms were all very spacious, great kitchen and eating area for our family! All the amenities you could need - so fun to look around the farm and was close to Guttenberg. We have always wanted to stay here and so glad we finally got the chance!

Stayed Aug 8, 2025Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce.

Stayed Apr 25, 2025We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race.
