Frida's by the Sea Beach House

We loved our stay at Fridas by the Sea. Beautiful location and the house is amazing. Our dogs had the best time playing in the garden. This was our first stay but it definitely won’t be our last.

Very quiet and relaxing, only the two of us but would accomodate a tribe happily. Would come again.

Super sweet. We were only able to stay for a short time as we had commitments elsewhere but Evelyn was very accommodating of our needs and did everything possible to make our stay relaxing and comfortable.We found fresh milk in the fridge, a beautiful bouquet of light pink roses on the bench and flannelette sheets on the bed! Everything you needed for a longer stay was available from cookware and cleaning products, to children's books and games, a work station and brochures incl local walking trails etc.The vibe is chill and the artworks and soft furnishings add to the colour and charm of this little cottage. The garden, deck furniture, pretty coral colour on the French doors and the party lights make for a beautiful, light and welcoming outside oasis. I have recommended Frida's to my family members particularly those with children and doggies who need a break from the city. An exceptional experience all up. Thank you. :)

An absolutely beautiful cottage. Very homely and situated in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Stunning front veranda to relax and enjoy the quiet.. very dog friendly.We hope to be able to come back again at some stage.

Was really clean and spacious, quiet street. Great retro pieces of furniture, well set up kitchen, great verandas, close to beach.Well set up games, books, cd’s.Loved the Frida Kahlo pics and reference's, in fact all the eclectic arts. Great art materials, if one wants to draw or paint. Nice garden for children.There is lots to love about it and hope to visit again. Its a really lovey home to relax and totally unwind in.

We found Fridas to be an excellent and beautiful location to stay...perfect for rest and relaxation.We thank the owners for an amazing home away from home stay and the cleanliness and professional way everything was handled,it made it so much easier for us...cheers Fridas..we will return.

Frida's is a lovely beach house, well set up and equipped. Listing is very accurate. The verandah and wood fire are stand outs. Excellent communications with owners.

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable, spacious house. Every room was a joy & furnished with a homage to Frida. We especially loved the verandah and ensuite! Everything we could possibly need was supplied. With nearby beaches to explore and great communication from the owners we wished we could have stayed longer.

Deceivingly huge home, with loads of interesting quirks, corners, nooks and crannies. We stayed with our dogs and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Easy walk to the beach. Fantastic deck. Sit back and relax!

This is our second stay at Frieda. It is a beautiful home away from home that has absolutely everything you require for a serene stay. We would love to come back in winter to enjoy the fire.

We absolutely loved everything about Frida's. The house was delightful, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Even though it rained a bit, the verandah was perfect for reading and napping. The dogs loved the beautiful beach a short walk away. Highly recommend.. The house was .

We keep returning to this magical house that is an Australian classic home, built for family fun by the sea and bush walks, back in the days when homes were made for living. Every amenity needed is supplied and our grandkids love playing on the roofed veranda and the beautiful garden, so easy to supervise games and outdoor fun even in the rain. We'll keep returning to Saint Fridas. Thanks Jessica and Steve the caretakers and Evelyn and Kerry the Hostesses of the mostest! XX

Frida's by the sea is a charming, comfortable cottage with a wrap-around verandah which is great spot to relax. All amenities were in place including an effective air-con system and modern appliances in a quirky, traditional setting. The location is surprisingly close to the dog-friendly beach via a lane and short stroll through the bush. Notes left by the host made us feel welcome and there were lots of basics (tea, coffee, milk etc.) in the kitchen so no need to go to the shops for anything apart from food. Overall, a great place for a relaxing getaway.

Good communication with host Evelyn. Cosy home in great street with all you need, clean house, comfortable bed and lounge, completely fenced for your little pups which, if well behaved are able to stay, we really appreciated this opportunity and made sure we abided by the rules to keep house clean for next holiday makers, which we believe is very important. Will hopefully be back to this little gem of coast line.

We had a wonderful peaceful 5-day nature getaway from the city at Frida's by the Sea Beach House: close to beautiful Red Head beach via nature walk, lovely modernised farmhouse-style cottage with the feeling of home + art decor, dog friendly for our little Jack Russell cross including fenced in yard and friendly cow neighbours, wonderful dark skies to see the Milky Way etc, close to Forster for excellent dog-friendly restaurants,..., and friendly responsive host Evelyn. Thank you so much!

My wife and I, and our dog visited Frida's at the end of a 2 week road trip. What a way to finish! We stayed for two nights, but wished we stayed for longer. The house is beautifully decorated in varied and exciting pieces of art, and furnishings. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed and the fireplace made for cozy watching of the TV and movies. Fabulous! We are already looking forward to the next time we visit.
