Stayed May 30, 2025Great stay! Lovely, clean home on a quiet street. Very short walk to the beach. Ample space and amenities. We enjoyed working puzzles on the screened front porch. We also loved the beautiful oak tree and the privacy it provides. They thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, and we didn’t have a single issue come up while there. Couldn’t ask for more, and highly recommend - 10/10!

Stayed May 10, 2025Great place to stay! Very cozy with everything you need for your stay. The home was very comfortable and the screened porch is perfect! We stayed out there most of the time as it was so cozy. You can hear the ocean from there. Location is perfect-such a short walk to the beach and convenient to everything. Comfortable beds and linens! We loved it!

Stayed Oct 11, 2024Our group of five and a half…plus pets had a fabulous ten days at Octopus Oaks. The house was wonderfully clean, spacious and just perfect! We enjoyed having a puzzle table, plenty of seating and spent a good deal of the time on the screened in porch. It was a quick walk to the beach and the weather was perfect. Having the gorilla cart to take chairs and beach stuff was extra nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and we grilled one night. Edisto also has fabulous restaurants and was great for bike riding and walking. We loved every minute and would surely enjoy returning to Octopus Oaks. Our hosts made sure that we had everything we needed. Hope to return! Thank you.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024From the grand live oak upon arrival to spacious living areas, the Octopus Oak was wonderful! It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the world and only a short walk to the beach. Our family found the house comfortable and uncluttered. The outdoor shower and outdoor living area with conversations laying late into the night were favorites for my crew, and the soaking tub felt incredible after a day on the beach and the little one was asleep! We would definitely stay there again!
