Fresh and Modern Lakefront Cottage minutes from the Little Brown Church

We wanted a weekend on the water. The house was clean and everything worked. We were on the lake for hours each day using the optional floating devices. The hot tub was nice. We stayed up outside on the small dock to watch the meteor shower. Beautiful location.

It was a perfect peaceful short trip, Great Host, Rental is as advertised and more. The screened in porch, Lake view, very clean and the Kayak Lift perfect.

Very nice place. Host was flexible and very responsive. There was a little difficulty with the hot tub, but it was addressed and further enjoyed!

We had a wonderful stay while visiting our son in Iowa. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our visit. What truly stood out was how accommodating the host was when a blizzard rolled into town during our stay. She was quick to respond to our questions, flexible with our needs, and made sure we felt taken care of despite the stormy conditions.It gave us such peace of mind knowing we were in a safe, well-maintained place with a host who genuinely cared about her guests. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. Especially if Iowa weather decides to put on a show!

Everything was as advertised and things were simple to figure out in terms of the TV, air conditioning, hot tub etc. It was exactly what I hoped for!

The lake view was breathtaking! We sat in the screened in porch every morning we were there. No bugs, just beautiful swans. The inside was very clean and spacious. Our family came to visit while we were there, they loved the lake view. The weather was perfect .

Perfect place to unplug and relax!

What a perfect little house and setting. We brought our two toddler children and one infant and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids slept great on the twin sized pull out couches. We loved the screened in porch for meals and the kids enjoyed the hot tub and roasting marshmallows at night as well as the Franklin books! Overall 10/10 experience! Sharon was an excellent host.

My husband and I stayed here with our 7 week old! It was absolutely amazing! Never saw any neighbors. Very quiet and private. The house was so clean, and comfortable. Loved the sun room! We used the hot tub as well! We went to the Dairy Treat in town and it was the best ice cream we have had! We did not catch any fish, so that was disappointing but the lake/river was super high! We would stay here again!!

This place was very clean spacious love the open concept. Enjoyed catching some catfish.

We have stayed at this house a lot in the last 5 years. It is always well kept, lots of amenities, and the recent renovations to the home are great!

Beautiful lake home! Enjoyed our mini vaca very much! Used the kayaks, enjoyed the lake and hot tub was very relaxing! Ventured out to a couple small towns for breakfast and lunch.

It was everything we needed for our short stay in Iowa.

Clean, relaxing, and comfortable.

This property is in a nice lakeside neighborhood although it is close to a railroad track and busy road. It is clean, cozy and convenient with everything you can possibly need in kitchen etc. Only two issues: it was very difficult to open the door. It was as if the lock had trouble working with the key? I’m sure it’s fixable. Also, the hot tub jets only work on one side. Which they may not be aware of. All n all, we enjoyed staying there and it is very comfortable. We had to leave day early but it wasn’t because we were unhappy.

My husband and I came out for a little weekend getaway. The place was just what we needed. Quiet, clean, and with lovely views of the lake. The lake is very shallow, so if bringing a boat, be sure to do your research on the lake beforehand.
