French Rd Farmhouse In Heart Of Leelanau County

We had an outstanding stay at French Road Farmhouse. We've been visiting this area annually for over 30 years and this is a perfect location. It is secluded and peaceful but only 10 minutes to the beach and downtown Cedar. It's within 30 minutes of several beach towns and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The kids loved the giant bunkroom and outdoor play areas. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The hosts are very communicative and accommodating. Great rental!

The home had almost everything needed for our trip! It was located off the beaten path, which is what we wanted. Our kids came home exhausted from our activities but still wanted to play on the playground equipment in the back yard. We stayed with a group of 10 and the home was spacious. Very clean, lots of toys, fully stocked with kitchen supplies and toiletries. Manager was very easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property. The farmhouse is gorgeous with views you’ll never forget. It’s peaceful and quiet and our entire family enjoyed it. We have young kids and they had everything we could have needed (crib, high chair, etc). Our girls especially loved the swing set out back! The house is 20 minutes or less from many downtown areas while still giving you serenity and privacy. We loved watching the sunset on the front porch every night. We will definitely be back/ don’t hesitate to book this home!

This house had something for everyone. The little ones enjoyed the backyard play set, large yard to run around, the bouncy house in the basement, and loads of toys and books. The adults enjoyed visiting the wineries, Sleeping Bear State Park, and the shopping in Sutton’s Bay, Leland and Traverse City. The house was extremely quiet, with no neighbors. All in all, a great place to stay. We would definitely consider another stay in the future.
