Foz do Sizandro | With your feet in the sand

We stayed a month with family and Friends and we really enjoied the house, well furbished and with a wide terrace. We took surf classes, walked around, did birdwatching and visited Lisbon, Sintra, Mafra and some others towns.. The hosts were very kind and helpfull. A perfect holiday!

We had 10 great days in this cozy little house close to the beach. It was clean and fully equipped. The owners Inês and her father were super nice and communication was perfect. They also provided a welcome package of some food, wine and water. The area is pretty quiet with a big untouched natural beach where surfing is possible. As there are no shopping opportunities or restaurants nearby a (rental) car is essential. We also recommend it for exploring other beautiful places around.

We have spent a wonderful time at the house. It is lovely and well located in a quiet and nice area, just in front of the beach and with a view at the ocean. The landscape is amazing. The house is well equiped and clean as well. It is cosy and decorated with taste. Nothing is missing to spend a good time and feel just like home. It's even nicer than on the pictures. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, everything went well starting with the communication beforehand . They also provided us with at lot of information when we arrived. We felt really comfortable and at ease immediately. They showed availability if anything was required, checking on us by message if everythning was ok once in a while. It's been a real pleasure to meet such a nice family. I definitely recommend the house. And thanks a lot to Ines to be kind enough to speak with us in English as my Portugese was too poor ;-)

We had a great stay in the house of Ana. Nice and cosy place, with the beach in front of the house. Ana has been a great host and was happy to help for any matter. It was very convenient to visit the aera of Lisbon. We strongly recommend the place and the host.

This is a very nice place to stay for a family with children of all ages. The beach is in front of the house. During the day locals visit the beach, in the evening the beach is for yourself and the birds. The house owner is so very friendly, she made us really feel at home. We will come back again!

We had a very pleasant stay in this place. The house is clean and cozy. You almost have a 'private' beach in the neighborhood. The owner of the house is a very kind person en ze is definitely willing to help.

The house is nice and clean. The owner Ana is very nice and can arrange the necessary food and beverages. In the house are also olive oil and shampoos and that like available. The only minor downside is, that the house is situated in a bit leaving neighbourhood, but very near to a beach where you could surf.

This house is really beautiful and decorated with a great eye for details. Our little boy could not stop looking at all the pictures, figures and photographs, he found something new every day. Ana received us greatly, she explained to us what we could do and where we could go and gave us great tips. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the beach right in front of the house with huge waves, the walks through the fields and along the coast.
