Located on 2 acres of land, just up the road from your very own slice of Lake Charlevoix beach access and private dock, rests your Four Seasons Cottage getaway. Built in 1969, this Up North house has the retro Cottage feel with a hint of Mid-Century Modern and plenty of comfort and charm. The spacious living room, lit up by the bay windows, offers 2 super comfy couches and cushioned seating at the bay window for the family to gather.
Fully equipped kitchen as well as a wood burning stove for those evenings when a romantic fire is needed to take the chill off. (Outdoor fires in the fire pit during the summer months). Master bedroom with en suite bathroom downstairs. The spiral staircase leading to the giant upstairs loft divided into two sleeping areas equipped with a half bathroom and 4 single beds, a large table for games and activities, area rugs, and two portable wardrobes.
Just a short 1 minute walk from the house down the drive to your private dock with lake access. The location is one of a kind. The private drive is at the foot of the iconic Ironton Ferry, and just across the narrows from the Landing Restaurant, Lake Charlevoix's premier waterfront dining venue. 5 miles from downtown Charlevoix, 7 miles from Boyne City, and only 3 miles from Castle Farms, Northern Michigan's wedding destination.
A great location for all four seasons, from enjoying rounds of golf on one of the many lush courses in the area, to enjoying endless hours on beautiful Lake Charlevoix. Embracing the winter landscape with 10 acres to cross country ski, snow shoe, snowmobile and icefish, and a short drive to Boyne Mountian. (Ski passes may be available upon request) If you have a larger party and looking for more space along with lake access and private dock as well , please check out my other property, which is a part of the 10 acres, all connected, Ironton Shore Farms on VRBO, property number 1137858.

Cabin is set in a quiet rural area on a large lot, a fire pit out back with plenty of firewood. Just 2 of us, so we didn’t utilize the 5 beds upstairs. A nice vinyl collection with a great turntable sound system. We’ll definitely be back.
Great house for a weekend! Fit all five us comfortably and was easy to get to. Host was very kind and helpful.
This cute, cozy cottage is full of character! Everything we needed was included. It was the perfect place for 4 friends to get away and catch up. It is very close to the ferry for easy access to Charlevoix, which was so fun to take! I would definitely stay here again!
Main issue was house was 600 ft from lake instead of advertised. Included crossing the sometimes very busy Ferry Rd with young kids. Freezer was iced solid and did not work. Master bedroom sliding door was off its track and not usable. Refrigerator had food left in fridge. Beach was adequate but had rocks in some areas; kids enjoyed spending time there. There was a beach-side deck with table and chairs. Tied our boat to the pier which was adequate. Beds, TV, fire pit and wood were all fine. Lots of evening fires. Price was good for the area.
The house was clean and as described in the listing. My kids loved the private beach. Being able to walk onto the ferry and ride across for dinner or ice cream sandwiches was great. We would love to stay here again!
House sleeps many, had AC, cold fridge and a walk away from the beach and beautiful view
Very clean house, quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay but not the weather as it rained the whole time. Thank you!
Nate was very helpful and courteous. Check in was easy and owner was on hand or a phone call away to help out with any questions. Just a few items to mention for this cottage. Kitchen is sparse for cooking supplies or entertaining kitchen items, and appliances need to be updated, they were not working correctly but we worked it out. We also went to thrift store to buy some items to use for our stay. So be prepared to bring items from home if you plan on cooking at the cottage. Other than that it was cute, great location, we loved the private beach and the yard was excellent. The zen garden was an added bonus. The ferry was easy to get on and off. And our friends live close by so overall it was convenient to what we needed it for. It’s a great property and would highly recommend the whole compound for large family stays!!!!!
This was a great rental. House was fun and had a lot of character. The beach area was really good and plenty of space to swim and have our two kids run around. It was fun to ride the ferry and check out the Landing restaurant! Nate is an awesome host. Very responsive and understanding of needs. Overall a really great place.
We had a blast staying at this property. It is close to the water and the beach is great. Our kids enjoyed the beach, the backyard, and the 'zen garden'. The Zen garden was a highlight of my kids' trip. The Ironton ferry is closeby and you can be in Charleovoix in 15mins. Nate is excellent and so responsive. He did everything to make our trip unforgettable and fun. We had an amazing weekend!
