Four Season, Lakefront, Sandy Beach, Amazing Sunsets

Our large family found Alpenglow to be the perfect vacation home for us! We absolutely love the Adirondacks and finding this beautiful house right on Lower Saranac Lake was a dream come true.

It had eight bedrooms. Lots of toys (adult perfect). Much to do on water. My Adventurous family used everything. Large refrigerator and separate bar. It was great!

We had an amazing family reunion week at Alpenglow. We had ages 5 to 70 and everyone had more fun than the next person. The house set up right on the lake with sunset views with the beach was simply perfect. We spent the days waterskiing, lounging on the lake, swimming, kayaking, reading, relaxing and more. The kitchen and house had everything we needed. It was very convenient to town which we appreciated. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Alpenglow is a spectacular family lake retreat. There was plenty of room for our large family of four generations. The kids loved the bunk room and there is ample common space to eat together. It’s one of the few homes on Lower Saranac with a sandy beach and the backyard was perfect for the annual family volleyball showdown. The owners of Alpenglow take pride in their home and make sure their guest have all they need. They were very helpful and responsive. We can’t wait to return!

The location on the lake is perfect. With multiple generations, the gentle slope of the sandy bottom is perfect. Our grandkids loved the swing over the water. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of counter space. The screened porch was where we worked on puzzles all week. There was enough seating in the upstairs family room to be comfortable. The games downstairs were a bonus for our competitive family. It's close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Just perfect. We're already hoping to book again. My only suggestion is to add a swiffer to your cleaning supplies. It's easier to use than the broom to clean up. Thanks for taking such good care of the property and sharing it with us.

Our family, a group of 11 adults and 2 babies, thoroughly enjoyed Alpenglow over Thanksgiving weekend. There was plenty of room for several more guests, had we needed it. The house is beautifully furnished and well equiped, with lovely grounds and sunsets. Very easy check in process and great communication by property manager. We would love to rent again in summer months, as Alpenglow exceeded our expectations and made for great family memories.

Amazing place. The house is beautiful with the beautiful front yard and the beach was awesome. We enjoyed very much the stay will come back.

We had 15 people in this incredible house, the yard is perfect for badminton and corn hole, the lawn slopes gently down to a pristine lake where our kids and their friends used the kayaks and canoes every day. Our son loved fishing in the lake! The sunsets were spectacular. Would definitely stay again- loved the layout of the house with so many beds for a large group, fantastic game room as well. Great hiking in the area. One of our favorite vacations of all time!
