Comfortable home. Nice double garage. Plenty of towels. Toys for the baby. Great communication! Bonus Christmas tree 🎄 up for our enjoyment.

Good stay

Katie is a great host and the property is very peaceful with wide open spaces outside. It had everything we needed for a family stay for a local wedding. Easy access to Green River Lake State Park.

Amazing house with a wonderful host. Comforable furniture thorughout with extra blankets and pillow just in case. Great amenities throughout the house including a hammock in the yard. So glad we booked here and if I am ever in the area again, I know where I am staying. Katie checked in with me frequently during the 8 days. She is a gem and so is this house. I would recommend it to anyone.

A stay at Foster Lodge feels like a stay with family. Comfortable. Well appointed. Family and pet friendly. Did I say comfortable? It is. If you’re wanting to be near the lake and have a great home base, this is one to strongly consider. You’re probably going to have competition for reservation dates because this place is that good.

Manager was a pleasure to deal with. She stopped by to see the 10 week old puppy I had along with her husband. They both answered and questions I had about the area. Will 100% stay here again.

This was my best VRBO experience to date. The hosts were kind and welcoming. The home was clean and comfortable and was well stocked with towels, paper products and cleaning supplies. The location was tranquil and pet friendly. We had a great trip and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

EVERYTHING was absolutely wonderful about our stay. Katie is without a doubt the best most helpful VRBO host we have ever encountered in all our years of travel. The location of the house was ideal for our Kentucky experience . The neighborhood was small and very secure feeling. The house was spotless, comfortable and homey, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well equipped with all basic necessities. While we were 3 seniors we did note all the child friendly supplies, even outlet covers. This VRBO is at the top of our list for all time best places to stay. Thank you Katie for all you did to make us feel welcome!

Foster lodge at green river lake is a great place to stay. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and a lot of space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The host is the best you can have. Responded quickly and went the extra mile to make our stay special. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and treating us so kindly. We will be back next year!

There is a lot of love in this house! Made a lot of good food in the kitchen, had a lot of laughs in the living room and had some peaceful walks in the quiet neighborhood. We also gained about 15 pounds due to a nearby Amish market called Tastes Like Home. Great WIFI too! We had a wonderful stay and the host was lovely!

Very clean, small little touches of hospitality. Pet friendly accommodations were great. Photos and memorabilia of the home owner, and antique pieces of history were a nice touch as well. We had a great time outdoors as well, as the home is situated at the start of the Green River Lake State Park. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and would love to go again.

This was an awesome place to stay. We had a fishing tournament at green river lake with about a 5 minute drive to the ramp.

We gathered for a college homecoming reunion and left more like family. The furnishings, amenities and layout of the lodge was perfect …The open plan encourages lots of chatter and laughter. Beautiful sun room! The decor just says “home.” Beds and baths and had special little welcoming touches. I would love to book for a week with my own family and enjoy the lake and outdoor areas! Just perfect! 😊

We planned a 6 day fishing trip to Green River Lake, and we chose the Foster House for proximity to the lake, dog friendly, layout of the home, and excellent prior reviews. We definitely were not disappointed in any way! We felt right at home, comfortable, clean, everything you need, owner was responsive if needed. Will definitely book again for future fishing trips!

This was the perfect meet up spot for a weekend with our son’s family. Easy to get to, quiet neighborhood and wonderful proximity to Green River State Park. Katie is an amazing host and we will definitely be back. Everything about this place is easy and comfortable. Thank you!
