Forest Lodge - Near 6 Ski Resorts

We wanted to get our children and grandchildren together for Christmas where we could fit comfortably. Place was beautiful, great location for skiing, hot tub hanging out with grandchildren in beautiful great room with fireplace. Kitchen was unbelievably stocked! Right down to crockpot kitchen aid mixer. I was cooking for large group hosting Christmas dinner. I packed too many tools supplies that were right there. A Christmas tree with lights and decorations greeted us upon arrival after long drive . Sorry I selected pics could not get them to transfer.

Great place to stay if you want privacy and a large home. All rooms were very clean. Hot tub was the cleanest I have encountered at any rental property. Fire pit was a great bonus. Highly recommended.

Forest Lodge was perfect!!! Our interactions with the owner were great, he was very responsive to our questions and made us feel welcome in his home. The house was immaculate, and was well stocked. The hot tub, fire pit, exercise room, sauna were so enjoyable! Would definitely stay at this home again.

My family and I (6 adults, 1 child) stayed at Forest Lodge over the Christmas holiday and everything exceeded our expectations! The owner, property manager, and accommodations were all amazing. The house has everything you could absolutely need - we cooked several dinners and the kitchen had it all! Every bathroom was well stocked - they even had tissue boxes in each room! The hot tub and sauna were perfectly well kept and so relaxing. The owner even put up a fresh Christmas tree for our family - it was above and beyond anything we anticipated! This has been our very best stay with a VRBO house and we hope to return soon! Thank you, Marc & Jason!

We were a group of 7 adults celebrating our 60th birthdays. We cannot say enough good things about the property. Very spacious home with lots of living spaces, 2 of the bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms which was appreciated, high quality linens and towels throughout the house, even extra towels for the hot tub. The Hot tub was a big hit with our group and we used it everyday. The sauna was lovely as well. We all hung out at the enormous fire pit and listed to music with their Bluetooth speaker. Plenty of firewood provided. The kitchen is so well stocked with pans, dishes, spices, utensils, cutting boards, etc. there’s a gourmet espresso maker with freshly ground coffee beans. Plenty of tables and seating in the kitchen which is on the first floor. The second floor opens up to the great room with fireplace, large sofa and big screen TV. Massage chair was a hit too. Lots of natural sunlight, rustic decor with birch tree railings and tree stump table legs. There was a fireplace in the kitchen which was cozy and one in the great room. Lots of heating zones guests could control. There are 2 refrigerators which came in handy and plenty of coolers outside as well. Marc has thought of everything when creating this inviting home. We will be back as we ALL loved the place!

Incredible house 15 minutes from Stratton. We were a group of 6 friends and 6 kids and had more than enough space for everyone. So many amenities to have fun at the house…hot tub, sauna, firepit, great room, and bonus room with exercise equipment and kids beds. And perfect location close to Stratton and Manchester. We did have a small issue with the stovetop but the property manager came by the next morning with a portable stovetop for us to use in the meantime. He was very responsive throughout our stay to help with any questions. Would definitely come back again.

House is convenient to multiple mountains which served our group well. The house was also very clean and well stocked. Communication with the owner and property manager was smooth and they both replied promptly to our questions. Would definitely recommend.

We had plenty of room for our extended family, 12 adults, 2 babies. The kitchen was well stocked, extra fridge, and the fireplaces made the whole visit cozy. The hot tub and sauna was so relaxing after a day of skiing and we had time to play some games too. That there was a lot of snow and the ski conditions were great made it even better. Our host was very accessible and showed us around and explained the technology in the smart house. The decor and the furniture is so beautiful and relaxing, just as it looks online. Marc made our dream of a white Christmas come true. Not only is the house all that the pictures and descriptions show, he provided a fully decorated live Vermont Christmas tree to add to the enchantment. My seven year old granddaughter loves the movie White Christmas and he even shared a copy of the movie. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and I had no trouble cooking and serving a fabulous Christmas dinner for 15. If you’re looking for a meat market I recommend The Vermont Butcher in Londonderry. (Best ever beef tenderloin). The beds are great, plenty of bathrooms and multiple places to gather for games and socializing. Hot tub and sauna were very popular and of course the massage chair was rarely empty. We built a roaring fire in the fire pit for another once in a lifetime experience. The location is close to ski resorts, yet isolated enough to provide plenty of peace and quiet. We even saw a bobcat one morning.
