Fonvielle–Exceptional upscale and spacious oceanfront home w/ gourmet kitchen

Beautiful place with some thoughtful touches. We really enjoyed our stay. For the price, we were disappointed that the upstairs hvac didn’t keep the top floors cool, and we had a broken dishwasher all week. The property management company sent three people over three days, we eventually asked them to stop sending folks since we had small unvaccinated children in the house. Some construction happening on both sides as well, but that should resolve by next beach season. All in all, we’d recommend with the issues above resolved.

The home is the perfect place for friends and family to gather and you can't beat the location. The owners do a fantastic job of keeping Fonvielle in excellent condition - investing into it every year we come back. We do our best to treat it as our own as it is the only place we'll continue to come back to as long as we can.

Not only is the house beautiful, the owners thought of just about everything to create a family friendly beach house! Upon arrival we found the house very clean. The elevator was so helpful when bringing in luggage and groceries! The two outdoor showers quickly became the favorite place to shower! Love and appreciated all the towel hooks I’m the garage and the outdoor hose was so nice for taking care of sandy feet. Because we have a large family and because of our intent to follow CDC protocol concerning the covid virus, the large well appointed kitchen was wonderful! We cooked some great meals in that kitchen! The dishwasher needs some attention, it was not doing a good job of getting dishes clean. The laundry room was invaluable! The ONLY bummer was construction next door but that did not keep us from having one of the best family vacations ever! Thank you to the owners of Fonvielle for creating such a wonderful beach house!

It sounds silly, but it feels like our home away from home every year. We adore the place and love the fact that our annual beach trip has evolved from a few friends to now kids, friends, and their kids and we love sharing the family memories at the house. The house is amazing, clean, well cared for and a great size - large enough for a couple families but not institutional. We hope to continue the annual 'beach trip' for many years to come and hope we can call Fonvielle home each year while in Wrightsville.

We had plenty of room to spread out, cook delicious meals, play games and rest well at night. The property has lovely decor and is well maintained. The manager was quite helpful and directed us to a delightful young man for a grill rental. Four of us enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding with Wrightsville Beach SUP. Be sure to eat at Tower 7 and get ice cream across the street for dessert!

The layout of the house made for a very comfortable stay and the decor was very well appointed. We enjoyed the games that were available in the living area. The porch overlooking the beach had much seating and was a perfect place for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. We would recommend this property very highly and would love to return soon.
