Nice place to stay !
This house is fantastic. It had everything we needed. The fire pit was great, and we had all the wood we needed.
Beautiful area and house was amazing.. host were amazing
Loved the home and property! Everything you needed was there. The home is super clean! The owners were great - checked on us frequently, but not a bother at all! Definitely a place to go back to!
This property has everything you will need. We did not need to bring anything extra. The fire pit was excellent - all wood was supplied. This is a great place !
A group of us were in the area for a veterans reunion. Rented this cabin as an overflow for our main group. Great cabin, great condition well maintained. Owners were very responsive with check in and any issues during our stay. Would highly recommend this cabin.
Enjoyed my visit
I planned a long weekend fishing trip with my 11 year old son where we would also have the talk. I was looking for a good place to meet all our needs and we struck gold at this property. My father-in-law use to own a home on Hurricane creek and I was hoping to find a home nearby and this property on Leatherwood was perfect. Lots of memories of fishing Leatherwood and Hurricane that I got to share with my son. The property's location was great; close to the Leatherwood boat launch and to Danville's. We also took a trip to Paris Landing. The home had everything we could have possibly needed to prepare our meals and having firewood for the outside fire pit was perfect for a fire on the last night as we roasted marshmallows and watched the Vols win! The beds were extremely comfortable and so were the couches (my son wanted to sleep on one of the couches the last night because it's fun). The owners kept regular communication to make sure we had what we needed and were very caring in ensuring we had multiple paths of contact in case we needed something. But again, the property had it all. I was really appreciative of the covered area to park my boat and charge the batteries. I'm saving this property and I hope to bring my whole family back this spring or summer. Definitely my favorite area of the Tennessee River and it's good to know there's a good property for us to start visiting this area again.
I’d like to start off with a great thanks to the owners of the property, Fred and Pat. To have the owners ready to help with whatever issues you may have/had from the beginning to the end, spoke of their personality. Very kind people who made you feel at home. I spoke to Fred a couple of times, even gave me a stick of Deer sausage, which was great. Truly good people you’d want to visit and enjoy an evening with. The house itself was beautifully updated, comfortable beds, plenty of room, and a kitchen with all the amenities you’d need. However, we spent most of our trip outside on the beautiful deck, where the peace and quiet did not disappoint. I will definitely be back, especially to visit Fred and Pat.
It was perfect for our weekend! Room For our family and parents! Quiet and cozy cabin was a great place to relax when off the water after fishing. Lots of historic places to visit close by. Our 8 year old loved the 1850’s farm as well as the battlefield. Will hopefully be back next year!
Lovely home very well equipped in beautiful peaceful surroundings. The owners were very helpful and keen to please. Don’t hesitate to book.
Highly recommend. The neighborhood was quiet . The house was clean and updated, had all the amenities you could need. The owners are locals and went above and beyond to make our stay 5 stars. Pat and Fred have the southern hospitality down to a tee, great people.
Couldn't be more please with our stay, it was a pleasure to meet with and talk to the owners of the home which were very accommodating to the reason for our stay. As a NC property manager of vacation rentals i feel that I often have higher standards because i expect the service that I would offer my owners and guests so 10 out of 10 recommended, you won't be disappointed!
Stunning house and view. The hospitality and kindness was outstanding. And a great place to decompress or make family memories.5star rental. Cant wait to stay their again soon.
