The property is not exactly as advertised. The boat ramp is more of a kayak launch than a boat ramp. The canal and inlet are nearly unusable at low tide. Our boat sat in the mud at low tide. The house is not very well kept. Lots of dust present. Lots of chipped paint on the walls. One toilet ran continuously. Septic tank issues. Hot water issues.

This was a wonderful vacation for our family. We fished off the dock in the back yard canal, rode our bikes to the beach, restaurants and shops, and had a great time. We were able to bring our two dogs who enjoyed time in the back yard, the dock, and the beach. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect and had everything you need . We fished off the dock, couldn’t use our boat because of weather but if we could have the boat ramp on property was convenient. We had 9 adults and 1 child if we get together next year we will definitely stay at Barely Covered. Thank you

We had an amazing trip. The property was as-described. The kids had a wonderful time fishing off of the dock. Dolphins even came right up to the dock! We love SGI and will be booking this house in the future.
