Stayed Oct 30, 2025Porch was peaceful and perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Kitchen was stocked well and allowed is to try all the new dishes on or list. All the time allowing me to work when needed.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025The house was great, it was a perfect getaway for 2 couples for the weekend filled with relaxation and fishing. The house was clean and inviting. We took the kayaks out and caught a couple good sized catfish and a fresh water drum. Fishing from the dock, we caught quite a few small catfish.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We thought it was a nice place.....Quiet...off the beaten path. Access roads are paved, but some can be rough so slow down. Found small problems like the towel hanger fell off the wall when we tried to use them. Would have preferred a more secure lock on the doors. Tech stuff took a while to figure out but worked fine. Inside was spotless, well decored, furnished, and comfy. Washer & dryer was a nice touch. Outside had fire pit, firewood provided, nice settin' porch and viewing area over the dock. We were a little put off by all the bugs/webs on the outside of the house and dock areas....Had a nice parking area and plenty of room, parking under the canopy kept the sun off the truck on those hot days.Hosting guests was a breeze, enjoyed our time there and would certainly return.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner.

Stayed Jun 28, 2024Its a great house for just the wife and me. The kayaks are both single sit inside style and seemed only a couple of years old but in very good condition. We had a great time out on the lake kayaking and easy enough not having to bring our own kayaks.
