Finders Keepers #115 Ocean Front, Hot Tub, Game Room, Sleeps 20!

The house was lovely and perfect for our group. There was a small issue that was addressed quickly.

Location is nice and beach is beautiful. Very disappointed with house. Hot tub was dirty when we arrived. Guy came to clean it but only opened it half way and left crusted sand on the walls. Main TV kept turning off; fireplace is for show only; back game room had no electricity so couldn't play arcade; pillows and towels are cheap; kitchen equipment is old and rusty; kitchen drawers were dirty; freezer iced up; living room carpet and upholstery was stained and dirty. The worst problem we had was that all the bathroom doors are very narrow (22' wide). My husband's walker would not fit through the doors so it took two people to help him every time he needed to use the bathroom. Also the shower had no grab bars and a slick floor. Since the house has an elevator, I thought it would be more user friendly for a person with mobility issues. We rented the house for a week, but left early. The property management was not very helpful either. Bad experience all around. Would not recommend.

Great house! Some of the furnishings were a little worn but overall we had a great time!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. Communication was amazing and fast. We were given all the information we needed for our check-in and checkout process in advance which made the process very easy. We travel during the anniversary of the loss of our son. This rental provided us with everything we needed and made this difficult time free from any additional stress.

Weather was a little cool when we visited near the end of October, so we didn’t get in the ocean much, but the water was beautiful and we come here to hear the waves and see the sunrises, so it wasn’t a big problem. We love Topsail and I was very impressed with the management company!!

It just needs a good, deep clean over the whole house, and some new kitchen items. New sheet pans, a new toaster, new coffee pot, etc. Those things just get worn out and dirty with frequent use. No one's fault, just the nature of vacation rentals. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and we already have a reservation with Landmark again for next year.

The past 2 years I rented via national agencies. Both years we had big issues, no AC on a level & it’s HOT in NC and a broken dishwasher that we were lead to believe was on order....never showed up in another house.Landmark was fabulous. Everything worked including an ice maker. The hot tube guy came twice during the week to be sure the tub was clean and working well. A maintenance man arrived as I arrived. He requested permission to repair a shade with the option to come back later. I was happy to let him take care of the shade at that time.The house has plenty of room for 3 generations. The main living area had several areas for family to hang out. Renting local makes a huge difference in our overall satisfaction.I have already booked the house for 2026.

All 14 of us always had hot water when showering. This was our 3 to stay at Finderskeepers and we did notice the house needs a little TLC. The game room was not usable, only 2 pool sticks that had tips and the shuffleboard gad no sand to slide the disc. The teens were a little disappointed. The kitchens skillets have seen better days. The outside roofing molding was dangling and the white furniture in the sunroom needed some cleaning. The house was very clean upon arrival except fans had heavy dust and deck was full of sand. We would definitely want to comeback next year in the hopes the owners put some TLC into the house.

Beautiful place for a large group. The views are stunning and the house was well equipped. Everyone had fun adults and kids!

The A/C went out on day two along with one of the hot water heaters. Landmark was very attentive, but we had to deal with having NO water for a half day, portable A/C units which never really cooled the area. lots of wear and tear throughout the house. Basically it needs a rehab.

The ice maker leaks on the floor and leaves a puddle, the beach disappears at high tide literally no place to be except in the water finally the WiFi is absolutely useless even for basic emails if these areas are not a problem for you then this house is great. We do recommend it in every respect otherwise and will rebook

Finders Keepers was perfect for our family trip, with plenty of space for 3 generations. The kids loved the game room and spent many happy hours down there during the tropical rains and winds that blew through. The house was clean inside and comfortable. We did have some minor issues including a malfunctioning garage door and an attic access door which the tropical winds dislodged. These issues were addressed in record time with concern and kindness. We were a little disappointed in the condition of the oceanfront deck in that there were multiple hoses lying across the entrance area and across the back of the deck. Also there was an outdoor electrical outlet which was not properly enclosed with the protective covering. But all in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and are extremely thankful that beautiful Topsail Island was spared damage from Debby.
