So thankful to find a great rental so close to the beach that allows dogs. Michele was a great host and always available via text for questions. Really enjoyed the ocean views from the combo kitchen/dining/living area with glass doors leading to the front deck. The rental was very clean, had tasteful & relaxing beach-themed decor, bathrooms & kitchen looked newly remodeled. A short walk to the public beach access to sand and beautiful blue-green ocean waters. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Everything about our stay was perfect. It was such a treat to be able to bring our dogs with us. This is a great location with a beautiful ocean view that makes you feel like you’re at the beach even when you’re inside. The queen beds are very comfortable and the window treatments are really nice for letting in or blocking light depending on what you want. The kitchen is small, with small appliances, but it was well stocked and met our needs. The property manager was so helpful and responsive too. I would definitely stay here again!

She checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything; brought us an extra wagon to use, a new shibumi, & a little surprise for our son! The house was super clean & had everything we needed. We will always recommend her & her properties & can't wait to stay again!

Repeat renter and I’m telling you, don’t scroll past this place! (but please don’t book it for the weeks I want it ). It took me few years of experimenting with different locations and rental agencies, then I found this place. Love it. Perfect location, close enough to wherever you want to go, far enough away to be a truly peaceful little neighborhood. Clean, plenty of amenities, well appointed and comes with a highly responsive owner (not that I’ve ever needed anything).

This place is wonderful with a great view and numerous amenities. Really enjoyed the weekend and the quiet rest after a beautiful day at the beach, which is easily accessible. Owner is easy to reach and extremely helpful. Lovely stay!

We went for spring break with my wife, two kids, and our dog and the house did not disappoint. Great location, the house was clean and had everything we needed. Communication was great and would recommend and stay there again!

Michelle always has well-appointed properties and responds very quickly to any matter. Beach has easy access and the fenced back yard full of sand is the best for both kiddos and dogs!

Fenced In is located on the second row of houses at the beach. As always, it was clean and ready for us. Michelle is a gracious host and acted quickly on a few cropped-up issues out of her control. The cottage feels like a home away from home for us.

This is our second stay in this property and third with the owner. We love everything about the place - location, setup, and great management.

This house is adorable. Sooo clean and so well decorated. You can see the ocean from the living room! Michelle is an absolute sweetheart and there for anything you might need. We would definitely stay there again!

House was what we expected. Very clean, and Michelle thinks of everything! It was a last minute trip and so glad we went with this. We normally stay in the Outer Banks, but had a family emergency. So, by far the best host experience we have had with our trips. Can’t say enough about Michelle and her son. We will definitely be back!

After spending many years at an ocean front house we were not sure we would like being a row back.However, the location worked well for us.The only thing we missed was the sunrise from the deck. Because of the time of year the position of the sunrise was in front of the house in front of us. However, we could easily walk to the beach and see the sunrise. The house was very welcoming and Michelle was a great host. She checked with us to make sure we had what we needed and to be sure there were not issues. I am old school so I loved the clothesline complete with clothespins! We were a family of 4 and we had some friends stop by for a few days. Everyone agreed that this is a great place to stay.

It was a dream stay! I was surprised by how clean it was! The host was very attentive with our stay and the weather was beautiful. I now that the host had nothing to do with that, but made our stay that much better. Will definitely look at that place again next year.

Would love to keep this wonderful place all to ourselves! Michelle is so kind and was very accommodating. The place is perfect for people and their pets.

AMAZING host and property!

I’ve been coming to Surf City for a few years. My trip last year was a very regrettable experience with an oddly popular rental agency. This year I tried my first VRBO ever. Score! Michelle and her son were beyond hospitable and inquired a couple of times if I needed anything. I felt more like an invited guest than a renter. The house was quite clean, plenty of amenities, etc. I took advantage of the dog crate offer and it was setup, ready and waiting for Fido’s arrival. The weather deteriorated as the week wore on, but between rains, I’d crack a beer, sit on the deck & watch the churning surf. THIS will be my address when I’m on island. Can’t wait to come back!

With two dogs we've found it hard to rent places, but this house was perfect! Great location! It is always helpful and nice to rent a place that has all the kitchen and laundry needs. Michelle is the sweetest and was very accommodating! We will definitely be coming back!

Property was as described. We did have adults in our party and the bunk beds were a little uncomfortable for my adult son, but he made the best of it. Not having box springs made it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, the location was great, beach was beautiful and and we had a great time!

I wish I didn’t have to write a review so I can keep this place a secret! What a wonderful stay in Topsail. This house is perfect for a family and a dog. House is immaculate, came with a starter supply of everything you need. SHIBUMI! Beach towels! Beach chairs! Clean outdoor shower! And if you have a dog, a crate is available (and the new chew toy was a welcome surprise!) Michelle was in constant contact and always available to answer any questions or if you need help with anything. She was so sweet to remind us of riptides and give recommendations on things to do. I told her the beach wagon needed repair, and a new one was delivered in a couple days (didn’t ask for one and I didn’t intend on using it, but ended up using it)! Location was perfect for us, a short short short stroll to the beach access with no hills. Practically beach front! and a nice quiet neighborhood. We have been to Topsail for several years now and this by far was one of the best experiences we have had with any rental and hosts. Will surely return and will not hesitate to stay here again!
