Farmhouse-ish Cajun Cottage

We enjoyed are stay here. It was a very cute and clean place to stay. We plan to book again in the future when we visit family again!

The kitchen had essentials and items needed for our cooking and eating. Beds were comfortable and linen was fresh. Overall, it was worth our money.

The house was fine. Cooking supplies could use some updating. My husband came a day later, so I had him bring a few things from home. If you don’t plan to cook, then you won’t have a problem. Be aware that there is only one shower. The button to start the dryer is finicky, you have to push it just tight. The street is nice and quiet. My daughter accidentally left a necklace. Thankfully the host made arrangements for us to pick it up since we were still in town. Thank you!

The house is the absolute cutest and cozy! It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Conveniently located. We were in town to watch a college softball tournament so we did not have a chance to explore restaurants or entertainment. Knowing Louisiana, there are plenty of great places to eat, gamble, and find outdoor entertainment. We were focused on the softball. All the amenities were available for our use. I will definitely rebook if I have the opportunity to find myself in and around Lake Charles!!

Brandi was very quick to reply to any messages. The Farmhouse-ish Cajun cottage was very clean, cozy, easy to find, and seemed to be in a very safe area. Will definitely stay again when in the Lake Charles area.

Excellent location, super clean and well decorated. Quiet neighborhood - large yard for dog. Not fully fenced but no issues there.

This was our third stay at the Cajun Farmhouse; it's very clean and comfortable. I'm in the area quarterly for training and book this accommodation every time it's available.

Everything was perfect for our visit.

I believe this was the nicest rental we've ever gotten. It was clean and easy access to it. I loved the fenced in yard. My dog Banjo liked the bench in the front living room. He kept a watchful eye on comings and goings..Hee Hee. There was a nice dock a few miles away, that we crabbed and fished at. Will definitely rent again next year!

Went home for a wedding and needed to stay close to where the wedding was and enlaws home. Will stay again.location. We'll rent from them again

The family and I enjoyed the weekend getaway

Access is private, and worked perfectly as instructed. Home is clean and fresh and is what we first noticed. Kitchen is spacious, family room has comfortable seating, bed provided good nights sleep. I liked having small dressing rooms, for keeping organized. There was ample ice in the freezer, and we especially appreciated the welcoming bottled water and cupcakes! Also the coffee bar was fun! Brandi is responsive, helpful, and gracious, above and beyond. She strives for us to have good experience. Her farmhouse decor is as cute as a button! It's also inspiring! Next trip, we will look for her place first.

This was our second stay here and it was just as comfortable as the first: clean, fast wifi, large well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, cozy living room and accommodating host.

It was accommodating with a farmhouse theme. So cozy and a relaxing environment for family. Large fenced backyard for the children to play. I definitely would recommend it.

Lots of dog hair. As we sat around our clothes had lots of hair on them. The. Went to bed and as we pulled covers back you could see the hair flying. Also cobwebs on the wall in the master and the fan needed cleaning. I feel if you pay for a cleaning service this should not be an issue. Plus the ice maker did not work and the water pressure was very low for showers. Was a bit disappointed in these things for staying 2 nights.

This house is very comfortable with a huge kitchen. Farmhouse decor is cute and wifi reliable. The keypad took a little trial-and-error experimenting (they are all different) but not impossible. Nice long driveway to accommodate multiple vehicle off street parking. Would definitely book again.
